Just came back to your video to report that some people are having problems with the weld to the threaded shaft breaking and rods being lost. It seems that as these got more popular some sketchy people decided to hire some unskilled labor to weld up a bunch of these and sell them at a discount. So, buyer beware of the cheaper ones, because with the rubber coating there's no way to check the welds!

I rebuilt a boat once, down to the hull. I will never do that again. I really like the layout of your boat though.
I would go to hardware store and get some metic nuts to jam nut it
