I hope it help you save money honestly . There's people who would just as soon buy stuff . Then there's people like us , who would rather make it better and cheaper lol . Thank you Sir
yep a carbide tipped skill saw will cut right thru al, some times spraying or brushing a little lube on part and cutting tools will help with chip smearing. great video....scotch brite discs polish well also
Spray your saw blade with wd40or cutting oil. It extends the life of your blade and it's less clean up. I've been a fabricator for 25 years and I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the genius ideas. I've built a few of your diy projects myself
Hahaha I'm glad you joined the club , lol I appreciate it too by the way . They turned out awesome. I might make me some more if I ever get the time haha
Thank you brother , those felt flap disc worked really good and they were a lot less messy than the grinder with the cloth wheels . I can see myself buying some more
You sir are an inspiration, just found your channel and its awesome. Bar soap or a shot of wd-40 will keep aluminum from building up on your chop saw blade. Matt 4:19
Digging the harbor freight tools. Seriously they work for EVERYTHING I need and very affordable. Planning on getting a HF chest for my HF tools. Thinking I like the green one👍
Yep those new green tool boxes are sweet . I bought the husky box from Home depot. It's a little cheaper for what you get but the reviews say the HF boxes are a little tougher
Great work, just one question, how is the best way to attach to a tracker , would like to do a track similar to your boat, thankx!! keep up the good work!!
Not sure some of the kayak companies make pretty good tracks , that base there you could use without a track if you wanted it would make the rod holder adjustable right and left and up and down . Someone else asked if I'd do a video on making a track system
You're a jack of all trades my kind of friend. What kind of blade is on your chop saw ? It does a lot better the cut off disks I have on mine. Tkx keep videos coming
You have to buy the whole saw , it's a cold cut saw , the reason you have to have the saw itself is because it turns less RPMs than a regular wack saw or a compound miter saw. But yes Sir it's a awesome saw . The blades aren't that cheap but they last a very long time as long as you don't cut hardened steel like I did and have to change it lol . I'll find you a Link

I have a polishing wheel for my big grinder , I assume your talking about the one I used in this video , you just go on Amazon and put in felt flap disc . And the polish I used I Just picked up at harbor freight , they have like 5 different kinds . It tells you on it what it's for and what metal it's for I was using the black and the green
How about a video where you add a trolling motor off the side of a kayak? I need ideas on how to get light but effective battery to power the trolling motor. I’ve seen a couple on TH-cam, but I’d like to see what you come up with.
you may want to paint a clear coat over those aluminum parts.. they will turn cloudy after a few days if you dont.. this is because aluminum will oxide in the presence of oxygen. you can also anodize them to prevent them from oxidizing.
I bought some stainless steel rod a couple of weeks ago planning on doing that lol . The plasti dip is high by the gallon may had to spray em but dipping will look better
@@FishinNStuff I want to build some myself just can't come up with no ideas and I've yet to find any videos on TH-cam of any being made to get ideas. I love watching your work I have it set up so when you post I get notified. Keep up the great work!
Man I really appreciate you saying that brother , I means a lot to know people really like it and I'm not do em in vain , cause you just make a video and don't know if your doing it right sometimes . Or if ppl enjoy or benefit from it . But it's hard cause ive never tried it and there's nothing ti go by but my own ideas lol . It'll be coming soon
Cool! For what you saved making the rod holders you could afford the press! Ha ha ha 😁 😂 🤣 I particularly liked the 90° angled ones, pretty handy. Any thoughts on making the wider? Just for stability sake in the channel rod? One thought that I had was to paint these with the rattle can truck bed liner. Great video

Good work, looked sharp. ................BTW, beginning to hate fishing out of a kayak. I see why you have the boat now. Cost too much especially when you flip and lose about $450 worth of gear including part of your kayak. Going to have to make the leap and look at a nice aluminum boat, darn kayak is really starting to cost a bunch.
