Simmon / Thomas - You should consider adding an extension story to your "Rainy Day Bakery" that evoles around a family of mice who live in Lilly's Bakery. You could call it "The mice under the Rainy Day Bakery". The father mouse could be known as Bartholomew, the mother mouse could be known as Ethel. They could have children or not, and the story could be a different perspective to the bakery. It would be interesting to listen to the mother mouse learn how to bake from Lilly. Perhaps they could even be talking mice, and they could befriend Lilly. Over time, perhaps the stories can crisscross each over, so Lilly can appear in the mice story and visa versa. ( Do a after closing bakery lesson, etc). Just an idea I had. ❤ If you like this idea, please "like" so it can be seen. 😊
Absolutely loved this! The concept of a bedtime story for grown-ups is genius. The Hercules and horses storyline was fascinating, and the rain was so soothing. Definitely subscribing for more of these enchanting tales.
Get Sleepy is amazing! Glad you've joined all of us here for restful bedtimes.🧸 There are playlists for each of the narrators, so you can listen to everything by your favourites.
This is number 8 in the Hercules series. They are fantastic. You've got some catching up to do. I'd also recommend the stories about the Pockets. There are 4 of those too. :-)
@@catcolb11What are the other two or three stories in the Hercules series? I am new to this channel so I'm only just now listening to this channel for the first time in the last 2 weeks
Thank you to the Get Sleepy team, your work is marvelous & tremendously appreciated. Thomas, your voice is a balm for the soul. My Boston Terrier is sleeping peacefully to your voice as she heals from surgery. She adores your voice.❤
Thank you Thomas and family 💯 I recently went through my first hurricane, Cat 1 and I didn't need to evacuate. T hat said, I centered myself through everyone from Get Sleepy! Namaste! From Galveston, Texas. USA.👎🌊🌈💗
The story is truly wonderful and relaxing! Thank you to the author for bringing such a gentle and nostalgic tale. Wishing everyone a peaceful sleep after listening to this story ✨
Thank you Thomas and everyone at Get Sleepy! ❤❤❤ I appreciate all of your hard work to make sleep easier! 🧸 I missed this last night, but hoping to get a bit more sleep this morning so will listen now. (Really rought night after receiving the news of a death in the family.) You help calm my mind during difficult times. Thank you.
Wishing everyone a good night's sleep and sweet dreams after enjoying this tale. 🌙✨ Don’t forget to thank the author for these delightful moments of relaxation! 💤💤
Thanks so much 😊, I'll be listening. I'll wake up when the rain turns to music, tho. I can't understand why rainy stories can't STAY rainy at the end, but I will wake up and start another rainy video somewhere else. I do wish I could sleep through it, tho. Thanks for your work, as always
Hello Thomas I know I'm very late in discovering your channel. Have only been listening to a few of your episodes a couple times in the last week or so. Wanted to say that I definitely prefer the episodes which are narrated solely by you. For me personally the episodes which start out with you going into the introduction part and then transitioning over to someone else I find that it inadvertently ends up waking me back up. My suggestion is one of two things either have that so-called guest narrator just do the whole thing from beginning to end w/ no introduction from you no introduction at all. Another suggestion that I have and you might want to consider is, to perhaps get a hold of an original copy of, English children's story books and I'm not necessarily meaning fairy tales per se. I'm suggesting some early children's stories perhaps from the, 19th century. You could turn those stories into sleep stories for you and your channel. My final suggestion unless you've already done it and I just haven't found it yet is to perhaps make up a story that involves something from the Elizabethan era. To get some inspiration you may want to check out the channel done by Dr Katrina Marchant she runs a channel called "Reading the Past". Another one you may or may not like, is called the "Anne Boleyn Files", by Claire Ridgeway. Hope this helps.
He’s wonderful isn’t he? I’m so grateful I found his channel as well. I can’t stay awake for the first 12 minutes without falling asleep.if you go back two weeks you will see he did your suggestions.❤️
Ianthe? Am I spelling it correctly? All I can find is a vague reference to Ianthe, daughter of Tethys and the name meaning violet flower and/or she who delights/pleases. Also a reference to Iphis and that story (not interested), and from a fairy book series Court of Thorns and Roses.

I listen to these so much now that the second I press play I start yawning even if I was restless just moments before 💌
Thomas has worked hard to use his voice as a hypnotist does when inducting clients & I don’t think there’s anybody better at it
