There’s a 0% chance of a kid actually drinking more than one sip of that before spitting it. Would just give him a sip of my beer and watch his face like my grandpa did to me.
The first time I had beer I loved it immediately from the first sip. Before that I had only had wine and a tiny bit of Jack Daniel's (which I was convinced was messed up because there's no way someone could actually drink something that tasted and felt that awful.)(but yeah it was regular Jack it tastes like that)
Lol my parents gave me a half cap of svedka when i was 11/12 at a party they hosted i immediately spat it out and cringed at the taste much less the embarrassment 😂😂
I'm 18, last time i had a beer was new years and it was fucking awful - only had it to help my bf finish it
when i was like 17 my parents had a party and i walked over to the bar (we had a home bar) without saying anything and poured a shot of vodka and looked at my mom who had a "dont you fucking dare" face on, then my dad who had an unconcerned face, and my aunt just yells "well its better he tries it with us than at a party". So i shoot it back and immediately cough and gag while they all laugh and my mom goes "i dont even need to ground you, thats your lesson". They asked me like 20 times that night if i wanted another shot. i said no every time. Fuck vodka

In the late 80’s when I was around ten I was helping my dad work on his car. He ran out of beer and he said let’s go to the liquor store. Instead of candy he bought me a “Near beer”, and when we got home we continued to work on his car but I was drinking the near beer. He’s gone now, and I remember that day almost every time I have one. I’m not a drinker, but when I do sometimes I remember that day.

Fun fact. In the state of north Carolina you can drink at any age as long as you're on private property and in the company of family. Soooo, legal even with alcohol in it
GA is similar. You have to be on private property, parent has to be present, and it can't be at a party or gathering.
State of WI you can drink anywhere anytime with your parents.
in new zealand kids of any age can drink out in public at a restaurant as long as they’re also ordering food and with your parents. you can also drink at parties as long as your parent signs a note saying you can drink x amount of booze lmao
Most states have this because of cultural or sometimes religious differences that would have parents allow their kid to drink
I believe WV is the same.

In Alberta Canada they've just started selling singles of 0% beer in gas stations
I Work at a beer barn and have had a situation happen similar to this. The law states you need an ID for non-alcoholic beer because they don't want to encourage underage drinking. Plus, Non-alcoholic beers are still regulated by the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, even though their alcoholic content is legally below what is considered to be an alcoholic beverage. This is because of a, somewhat legal anomaly, where any malt beverage is regulated by the FAA.
And from my personal opinion, I’d do it since the parent is buying it and is obviously gonna “supervise”(drink) with his son, I have no problem with it.
Like most laws generally state, it’s up to the parent wether the child can have a beer or not. Even at that the kid’ll spit the Heineken 0 out.
Interesting. I didn't realize the FAA had control over anything humans put in their bodies
Also, it’s not at all a given that it’s actually being bought for the kid. I’d give it 90% odds that the kid just wants to participate in the shopping, not in the drinking.
@@JasperJanssen That's still a 10% chance at a felony. By the way, did you know that the beer isn't 0% alcohol? It still has a tiny bit. Can't remove it all.
I will say tho that if your employer at said place has policy and regulation against it in yout state, you could get fined and maybe even jailed (again depends on the state and laws) for even selling it after the child puts it on the counter.
I worked gas stations in missouri and even if it was non alchoholic, if it was an alchohol brand like that we couldnt do that. If a kid put it on the counter we couldnt even finish the sale entirely. And if it were caught on cameras or if a cop were there and tried to sell it wed be screwed.
@@Rabbit-the-OneAnd bread contains a tiny bit of alcohol. In fact, most bread is more alcoholic than alcohol free beer. If it has less than 0.5% ABV, your liver filters it out faster than your body can absorb the alcohol, making it impossible to get drunk even if you drank dozens.

Dad was the warehouse manager for Budweiser back in the 90s, Vividly remember going to work with him on Saturdays and always looking forward to lunch because he'd give me an O'duels... I was around 7 lol.... I turned out okay lol
My dad gave me one to thinking he was slick😂

In Ohio there is no consumption age as long as it was bought by either a parent, guardian, or spouse. The purchasing age is limited to 21.
When I used to go to liquor stores with my dad and I’d hold something for him, the clerk once told me it was illegal for me to hold the alcohol, so he would carry everything to the car and I’d help him unload when we got home. I’m not sure if that lady was telling the truth or if she was just messing with us, I’ve never bothered to look it up
I'm Hawaii, it is legal for an underaged person to be with their parents or guardian while buying alcoholic beer. HOWEVER, the parent or guardian MUST take the child straight home if he or she intends on allowing the child to drink.
It is legal (in Hawaii) for underaged drinking as long as the following standards are met;
1. In the privacy of a private homestead.
2. In the presence of a Parent or Guardian.
3. Parent or Guardian MUST be "sober" enough to maintain order or the peace while the child is drinking.
I absolutely want more content like this. Worked at a bodega with heavy alcohol sales. Worked in cannabis as well. Ethical hedonism should always be promoted - and stuff like this makes people think.
Does is though? It’s just a kid throwing up a 6-pack. I did it with my dad all the time. I was the beer hauler at the grocery store.
@supdood885 Absolutely. Some stores do not allow minors to participate in sales at all if alcohol is involved. Some states allow minors to drink *actual* alcohol with parental approval and therefore it is non-conversation in those cases. Some could argue it could be a parent grooming a child into drinking, whereas it may also be a parent teaching proper consumption habits young. It's a video that opens the conversation to seeing if a counter clerk is mature enough to handle hedonistic sales.
Edit: I stated alcohol sales in the first sentence, however this may apply to cannabis or other hedonism retail
@@widdrshinswondersyeah like he said it doesn't make much sense.
Here in Finland it is legal to sell 0% beer for underage persons but stores mostly have their own guidelines not to sell alcoholic-drink-like products to minors.
I used to do this with my dad all the time as a kid. I still love the taste of O’Doul’s.
My father would throw a beer at me after cutting the lawn I was like dad I'm 16 and this bastard was like drink up before the neighbors see 😂😂
I made rum for my grandpa when I was younger
I'm sorry you had an abusive father
@alecmullaney7957 abusive no not at all he was setting me up to succeed 😂😂
We have quite strict alcohol laws in the Nordic countries. With state-owned liqour store monopolies. However it's perfectly legal for kids to drink non-alcoholic beer. In Sweden the limit is set at 2.25% alcohol. Anything under that is legal for children to buy and consume.
That's enough to get smashed as a teen if you can stomach about 10 of them.
It say this on google “non-alcohol beer and wines which contain less than ½ of 1% alcohol may only be sold to those 18 years of age and over”
My dad never had an issue with me having a non alcoholic beer while he drank his actual beer until i turned around 16, at which point he introduced me to gin and cranberry, which we usually had almost daily. Nothing wrong with it when its being properly supervised, and done in due moderation.
Back when i was young teen in the mid 80's, we could have block parties where they'd get a permit and shut down the street, corner to corner, and just party. As long as there was "adult supervision" you could drink regardless of age. 10 year olds getting beers and shots with the police right there watching. not saying it was good or bad, but that's how it was back then.
How it should be
I have a hard time believing this, do you live in the states? Just want more clarification before I just trust you.
@@calebelson1definitely used to be like this in Midwest United States in the 80s. It was a completely different world in this country 50 years ago

I ascribe to the thinking that you need to demonstrate responsible drinking to your kid. Having two beers on a Saturday and making it clear that you can enjoy alcohol in moderation on rare days is important. Your kid is going to drink eventually, but you can control what his context is when thinking of drinking: parties that he'll attend in his youth, or his parent having a beer with dinner.
Little Johnny no manners cant say hi but he wants beer 🍺🍻
In Germany kids usually start drinking at 15. So the culture is definitely different, but it wouldn’t be a shock to see a younger child having alcohol free beer with their dad. I feel like it would be a fun and wholesome bonding experience.
Depends on the state in the US. Like in Wisconsin that's normal, but I would guess it would be pretty opposite in Utah
I don't see a problem with it.
I'm Canadian, and I was allowed to have a single beer at 15, or have a glass of wine with dinner.
Agreed, Wisconsinite here and the only thing odd about the whole situation is that they plan to get non-alcoholic beer
@@john_la_chapelle in North America, it is generally illegal to sell alcohol to someone if they indicate that they are buying it for a minor. The clerk would have to refuse to sell if it was an alcoholic beverage that the child was getting..
The kid will take one sip and say it tastes like a burp 😂
It’s sweet he wants to bond with his son with a beer and he’s being ethical about it
I accidentally paused the video right before he said pause 😂😂😂😮
Wisconsin here, this is almost common place. Your underage kid can drink with parents in restaurants. Different culture up here. Lol
And that’s why 7 of the 10 drunkest cities are in Wisconsin
I think there's a big difference compared to drinking sips at a meal with family, as opposed to "going to the liquor store" with dad. It just comes off as super skeezy as opposed to dad/grandpa giving you sips of theirs.
@@MetanoiaMan Kids go get drunk with their parents at the bar quite often...
Love from Kentucky. We have 2 barrels of bourbon per resident.
Same here in Mississippi.
I think it seems cute, he's bonding with his kid because we all know kids want to be like grown ups, so he's letting his kid play grown up without actually giving him anything dangerous

Yes it’s 100% ethical, I am French and grew up on 0% wine, I don’t drink very often and definitely keep it healthy, it’s all about the morals your parents teach you and show you.

Thanks for the likes!!!
Just for everyone who was saying “it’s just juice” so your aware, this video is displaying how it is immoral to give kids 0% alcohol because you are normalizing alcohol, I disagree because normalizing it isn't morally wrong in the first place. I also started drinking real wine when I was 12, before then was 0% wine. *Big sigh*
