    for your video, very helpful. Anyone wanting to tap into that buss bar but doesn't have an extra nut there to use; it's a m5 .8. (2008 fwd, 2.0t, auto) Edit: personally decided against using that buss bar. Couldn't quite figure out how many amps could go across that thing safely so decided just to fuse at the battery.

    Hi, congratulations for the videos. You are really good. I ask since you have the same car as me if you have ever replaced the central flap motor v70. The diagnosis made with VCDS gives me the following error:
    01272 - Positioning Motor for Central FLap (V70) - 003 - Mechanical Failure - Intermittent.
    The problem is that I can't adjust the direction of the air, for example it never reaches the feet. Have you ever taken it apart? From what I was able to understand it is hidden in the central part starting to disassemble something on the driver's side. Can you help me?

    Hey Dom,
    Is the hole located at the same side (left) for Right Hand Drive cars, or will the hole be located on the drivers side (right)?

    • @domworks
      @domworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Ayush,
      in the right hand drive cars i suppose it's all "mirrored", so the hole will be on the driver car, almost surely.

    • @AyushKShrestha
      @AyushKShrestha 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@domworks thanks Dom, I suppose that’d make the most sense.
      However, the battery is on the right hand side still for my car, do you think there would still be a hole at the same place you showed on the video?
      Of course I’ll be checking but just want a sort of confidence before taking things apart.
      Cheers again Dom!

      You have to buy first a converter. These work through a non-standard protocol so you first have to convert the signali. Buy a PHONOCAR 4/130 (if you have bose system) or PHONOCAR 4/190 if you have a standard audio system. Let me know👍🏼

    Great vid, can you do a vid of how to run the rest of the cables to the amp

    • @domworks
      @domworks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank You.
      The process is the same, I didn't filmed it because is very simple (so you don’t have to pass to the engine compartment).
      Simply remove all plastics in cockpit area and install the cables. (BUT this time on the passengers side, in order to separate POWER cables and SIGNAL cables).
      So from the radio you will run these cables: RCA, and 1 small wire to do the “Remote” signal from the radio, so the amplifier powers ON when you power ON the radio. In commerce there exists the RCA cable with also attached the “remote” wire. If you don’t find it, simply bring the RCA and 1 small wire, (1mmq is enough).
      Let me know !

      On any metal surface you want in the trunk (so it's the easiest way). For example I mounted it on one of the four hooks that are in the corners. (But first remove the black paint for 1cm so you can get a clean metal to metal contact).
