the rs6 does have a biturbo, a 4.2l V8 biturbo it says it right on the engine, the one in this video has that engine and displaces 500hp bimmer puts down 400hp and the M3 I think is what 300? something like that 330 i cant remember all great cars with different purposes, but as a weekend warrior for snowboarding and mountain biking you cant beat an RS or S avant or a 540i touring with an M5 engine drop. and handling can only be judged by the driver, i drove an M3 and like the RS4 more. great vid

I would love to stuff one of these engines into a M3 CSL.... but we dont have the CSL in the States as far as I know. Anyways probably one of the badest M3's ever raced... until recently with the Letterman-Rahal team.
I think the M5 don't need any optical upgrades, understatement is a part of BMW M image. Though the 335i is quite brilliant, bmw must have an naturally aspirated engine(i don't like turbos). If the new RS6 will have about 600hp, bmw maybe will offer a power upgrade up to 530-540hp, I guess that's enough to beat the audi. P.S.:$350k are ok for 800hp sedan.
You can not judge either if these cars by going in a straight line . Each car has to be tested by its all round abilty. Now the M3 is the car of all cars hands down PS for those that own onw Holllah......

Also ein 110PS Golf IV TDI schafft doch knappe 210 laut tacho mit viieeell Anlauf und guten Windvehaeltnissen, aber ein Focus 1,6 otto (102ps) geht volle 220, habe selbst probiert mit einem Mietfahzeug.

why is it superior to an m5 ? and having more hp isnt always beter! its how the car puts down that power that makes the difference! so i think what the better car is what ever one u like the most and i like them both. i just want to know what makes the rs6 better than the m5?

Wegen Allradantrieb ist RS6 speziell bei hoeheren Tempi etwas langsamer als der E39, bis 160 ist der RS6 deutlich schneller. Der M3 sieht zwar nach CSL aus und klingt auch so, aber es wundert mich, dass er mit den Beiden nicht wirklich mithalten kann.
hättest du nicht immer nachgelassen mit deinem m3 dann hättest sie gehabt ! die ersten 3 starts mal versaut beim ersten zu tief runtergeschalten naja weiterüben =)
