Years ago they recommended giving puppies a ticking clock and a hot water bottle to represent mums heart beat and warmth we did that and they were fine takes about a week to settle. Teddy is so cute bless him xx

Aww what a cutie Teddy is 😍….. little advice on crate training. Bring it upstairs in evening for sleep. Big adjustment to have all yr siblings around u then to b alone. Let him get to know he is safe & has to settle then start moving it out yr room & further away. That way he will still smell u & know he ain’t alone but feel secure enough to switch off straightaway. Positive association to the crate is what’s needed. We currently have a 16 month old pup & those foundations when a pup have deff helped now he is in adolescent phase 🤪🤪

What a lovely puppy love the name, keep up with the crate because it was the best thing I got for my dog he loved it and it stopped him crewing everything and when we went out we knew he was safe xxx

We crate trained our pug puppy when we first brought him home and the first few days were tough, but he got used to it and eventually would take himself to it when he was tired! A couple of things we tried to help: we put a small blanket over the top and top sides of the crate to help him relax/wind down and we would leave the door open with a little treat in there for him to sniff out and use during the day to see it as his own safe space!☺️

So pleased for you! We have a 2 year old cockapoo, they are amazing dogs just make sure you set all your foundations in the first few weeks (sleeping downstairs, leaving home alone e.t.c)xx

I have two cavalier King Charles & their the very best. You’ll never look back. my dogs chose me lol . His name really suits him. I kept my puppy in his crate in our bedroom and he use to cuddle up to a toy dog for comfort ❤xx
Congratulations on Teddy he is adorable and i have a 1 year old Labrador Milo and he didn't like his crate on the first night but they do gdt use to it and settle 🙂
I couldn’t bare to leave him downstairs on his own 😭. Our frenchie had slept with us since we got him at 8 weeks old ❤

Ah that's so sad when he was crying down stairs 😢. I couldn't do that he has just left his family. But I also understand that some people do that xx
It’s really not easy, we didn’t have the best first night so we may change what we are doing. It’s just trial and error xx
