You play overtone notes with the octave key, If I were you I would print out a fingering chart, and it tells you how to play every single note there is high and low. I have been playing for 5 years, jazz, and no, this is not my channel for alto sax jazz. But ya man, have fun with your sax their fun.

hey man ! I love this ! I've been playing saxophone for almost a year, but I'm still a beginner. I'm definitely going to buy the backing track and the sheet music. Could you help me with one question? So from what I understand, the highest note on the alto sax to play with normal fingerings is F# right? So you have some really high G's and I think there is even an A there too. Are those overtone notes? How do I play those?

those are altissimo notes. notes above the normal range of the instrument. there are various fingerings out there on the internet and not everyone works the same on your instrument. but there are basic teachings you can learn and play around with.
