Robert is such a skilled, engaging, and gripping storyteller! His testimony is amazing. Grateful that he and his nuclear family survived and gifted us with their witness.

Thank you very much for sharing this . It’s always satisfying to hear the unique personal experiences of survivors of that war and many anecdotes that were interesting to hear as well ♥️

Fascinating story. Very articulate and a great story teller. No need for the interviewer to even ask questions. Also a wonderful sense of humour. So glad you, your brother and your parents survivent.

Great, great story. My mother isn't Jewish, but she was born in Antwerp in the early thirties, thank God she is still alive, 90 this year!

You are a great narrator. Waiting for interest on the $100, haha. My Belgian mother met my Canadian father when he was stationed in Belgium. Got married in Hove and then he was discharged to Canada and she followed with the other war brides months later. Had 8 children. I wished that I had more information regarding their war time experiences but they were very reticent to share . Too many horrors. My husband & I made a holiday to Belgium in 1995 and visited with my Belgian family there. Beautiful country
