How many chances do you have in life to say: are you disrespecting me (like she did) to a royalty. And also to queen Elisabeth. once in a life time. Rest in peace dame Lauren
"Are you disrespecting me?" 😂😂 How often can you ask that to a Queen? "How do you do , how do you do , how do you do again?" Gets me everytime 😂. A very apt imitation of the queen. Tate's the best!!
I wonder if their hart's were ponding when they did that scene, like got really really nervous especially saying things about the queen especially in front of her!!!
It's because not many comedians would have done that kind of act involving the Queen in that manner. In a Graham Norton interview (watch v = 8SRbzzu8544) she said the Queen told her "It certainly a variety show, wasn't it" which means the Queen wasn't completely amused or used to being a part of a comedy act like that. That's why Catherine Tate is brave because she did an act that most other comedians haven't done and wasn't bovvered. The other two actors are also brave for being a part of it.
In a Graham Norton interview Catherine Tate said that the Queen told her afterwards "It's certainly a variety show, isn't it" and Catherine wasn't even bovvered.
The way I see it it's just the aura of power and establishment that hangs around a figure like the queen. The British royal family has no actual power, but they still belong to the long tradition of royalty. I don't think there would be any particular consequences, it's just that most people tend to steer away from offending the royal family because they have that semi-mystical association.
....are you disrespecting me?
that line omg
Catherine Tate got to do that, because many members of the Royal Family have listed her show as their favorite, including Will and Kate.
Colby Jones how do you know?
But am I bovvard tho?
Cuz she’s so funny, and just because you’re royal doesn’t mean you can’t have a sense of humour....
Was that acc the queen tho or was it a fake
I seriously can't believe that was the queen right there can someone please tell me if it was or not
How many chances do you have in life to say: are you disrespecting me (like she did) to a royalty. And also to queen Elisabeth. once in a life time. Rest in peace dame Lauren
did the queen have her beheaded or something like that?
+Paideia Lauren died in a canoe accident later in the Christmas special
I lost that episode. Lauren Died in that canoe? I only watched a teaser of her falling and yelling " I AINT BOVVEREDDDDDD" . didnt know she had died
She isn't dead though. She is now tiktok famous.
She's alive again though. She did a red nose day thing a couple of years ago.
The queen was being personally entertained so there was no breach of protocol.
Catherine should go to the x factor audition as Lauren Cooper!
Deena A. Yes!
There was a sketch with Lauren where they did an audition type thing.
Queen at two o'clock. She is fierce.
You know the bovvvered comes when she goes silent
“but she’ll cut off your head tho”
“i don’t even care because i don’t even need it” 😂😂
I'll never get over the genius of Catherine Tate. 10 years going on...
6 years later and I feel the same way haha
@@mikaelastefkova9 years later, still the same 🤣🧡

"Are you disrespecting me?" 😂😂 How often can you ask that to a Queen? "How do you do , how do you do , how do you do again?" Gets me everytime 😂. A very apt imitation of the queen. Tate's the best!!
This is the greatest thing ever. I can't believe the Queen was actually there! I'm obsessed. Catherine Tate was perfect.
Whenever I need a good laugh I watch this! Always has me in stitches.
Should have taken the opportunity when impersonating the Queen to go, "We are not bovvered."
“ ARE YOU DISRESPECTING THE HOUSE OF COOPER!!!”
I love her so much 😄✨
ART THOU CALLING MY MOTHER A POX RIDDEN WENCH
"Mate. Mate. Mate." "WHAT?!" "...She's laughing at you, mate." That gets me everytime!!!
Me too as moments before you see the Queen laughing with a huge smile. :)
Welcome to Britain, where comedians make fun of the Queen to her face :)
Welcome to Britain, where people don’t get offended by obvious jokes! Haha
I don't get how they perform it without laughing. Must be so hard
02:50 when she tries to pick a fight with the Queen lmao
I wonder if their hart's were ponding when they did that scene, like got really really nervous especially saying things about the queen especially in front of her!!!
i am wondering the same. even MY heart was beating
You can actually see her starting to blush - so the answer is: Is it! :D Who wouldn't be nervous about something like that, though.
I wish I has the balls that Cathrine has though
Lauren Taylor in it though
behold.. catherine tate is doing something called ACTING and the queen KNOWS she's acting! :O shocker.
"That old man sitting next to her is falling asleep."
Prince Philip?
RIP
NEVER. GETS OLD.
Catherine Tate is my spirit animal
Please let this be in a future The Crown episode!
These guys have some Guts!
Not really. The Queen is quite open to a spot of banter. There's no Lese Majeste laws in England. Only treason.
Catherine Tate is a comical genius! Love this so much - kills me no matter how many times I watch it...
that old man sitting next to her has fowling asleep 😂😂😂
One of the best skits ever!
the only woman in the world who can ask the queen if she's disrespecting her hahah love it!!
"Oh my god, what did she come as?" 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm addicted to this so badly XD
She’s a legend and I think the only one ballsy enough to stand up to the queen! Wish it was Nan though.
NEVER get tired of this~
Came here right after the queen died
"Are you disrespecting me" God, I love Catherine
"That old man sitting next to her has fallen asleep" haha :-D
Probably the only time anyone's spoken to the Queen like that ;)
My favourite line is "that old man sitting next to her has fallen asleep", it's the delivery and timing and... I dunno.
O K A Y

The only woman in history talking like that to the queen in public ❤️
You can see in her face for a moment "oh dear lord please laugh, don't kill me for this. "
Catherine... You are... You are brave. You have my eternal respect.
Russia and North Korea : We will nuke you!
Lauren : Am i bothered?
So funny while uncomfortable in parts. Overall Yes i like it

What a pity that I can not understand what she says, but I really liked that
Captions don't help at all
"Aw yu disrespectin' may?"
Basically the moment I fell in love with Catherine Tate.
She is brilliant. I'm a Yank and I love British humor. Monty Python... and of course the music.
I don't know why so many Brits hate us.
1:14 ‘That old man sitting next to her has fallen asleep.’ 😂😂😂😂 What actor is that?
It's a good thing lèse majesté isn't taken seriously anymore. Catherine Tate, you're amazing! :D
British humour.... the ultimate piss take...❤
Would love to see a full video of the queens reactions 😆 she ain’t botherreedddd
I wonder if the script for that sketch had to be authorised by Buckingham Palace first?
2:56 is when the fun starts😂😂
omg ^^ I thought this was a joke but it was the actual queen! ^^ loooool
"How do you do, how do you do, how do you do again... look, she aint even bovvered doe!"

I need to implement this tactic into my everyday life
She is terrific!

Catherine Tate is fierce.

The Royal Ballet is the name of the company, but fair point. :)
"What is sign language for Am. I. Bothered?!
“Is one bovvered?” 😂😂😂😂😂
She has balls omg xD
A Catherine Tate is a pride for the Tate name unlike Andrew ..
The line when she was laughing omg what a freak out
In a Graham Norton interview Catherine Tate said that the Queen told her afterwards "It's certainly a variety show, isn't it" and Catherine wasn't even bovvered.
Anyone 2021?
Who'se lookin' after the corgies...?
Brilliant.
It must be really scary
Not knowing how far you can push it,before you get beheaded 😱😂
And why hasn't this got millions of views 🤔
"Don't make it obvious, don't make it obvious..."
"What is it mate?"
"Queen at 2 o'clock"
"Shut up, is she!?"
Real discreet there...
