i need to clean the actual print head. (white to be specific) i do not have money to buy a new one. my white ink is banding even after heavy cleaning through the machine. i feel like i need to manually touch the print head which is very much frowned upon
Good evening! I was wondering if you were able to figure this out? I’m having the same problem where my white ink is the only thing not printing but my Epson f2100 is saying I need to clean suction cap . Any help ? Thx
@@jadebrewer6858 yes there is a video i will try to find the link. you need windex water and 99% isopropyl, there is most likely a clog on the print head (which is very very sensitive) so you need to be very careful with this technique
Can you explain the functionality of the head cap or suction cap Im trying to understand what it does for the machine. Cant find any other info anywhere else Thank you!
I believe the head capping station seals off the print heads when the printer is idle. This keeps air from drying out the ink in your print head nozzles.
