How do you get the reference point/laser to be the centre point of the design?
To center your design in Wilcom, select all of it, then look in the top left corner of your program, where it will say Position X: and under that it says Position Y: if you set them both to 0 (zero) your design will move to the center. I hope this answers your question.
I own a Barudan and your videos are amazing! I’ve learnt so much about my machine that I otherwise wouldn’t have known if not for you guys! Thanks so much 😊
Hi, thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate you! Glad we could help. 😄
Amazing
Mine came with the top piece connected. If that breaks on you just shop around and you can get one that doesn’t have that silly top
How long ago did you purchase yours? I haven't seen one where the top flaps are connected.
I just want to compliment you bro. You're the only guy on TH-cam who posted video of what I'm looking for. However it doesn't answer the full information I needed 😢 By using Photoshop for almost 8 years I can say I'm 7-8 out of 10 but with illustrator I'm really lost because I don't get the logic in it. The tools are not user friendly and easy to use. My situation now is almost the same with this video. I'm trying to design for a glass window stickers with 5 panels but with mullion the design will be cut for example the lettering of the company name plus the essential graphics like cars for example. I'm really lost as I know this type of work needs bleed that's why I need to use illustrator but now I end up using Photoshop doing it as a friend on a printing company earlier told me it doesn't need it and the graphics using Photoshop doesn't differ much. I was there in their shop earlier and I can say I believe him because he prints these types of stickers on glass for almost a decade now but I really want to learn illustrator. I just can't find someone who can teach advance complicated designs tutorial that I'm facing now. My work is a video editor and I believe learning this illustrator is a need for me too. I hope you can give me some advice.
Thank you for the compliment! We made a video that hopefully addresses your question, here is the link th-cam.com/video/mayWVGVi26M/w-d-xo.html . Feel free to reach back out if you have any more questions on the topic.
great video
thanks for the video very helpful
nice i am going to do that
Where can I get the folding gig
now you have two gradients stacked with different color consistency, this is no different than adding bleed to a solid color shape. Seems like you missed a step to get this printed and cut correctly.
This didn’t work for us. Do you have any other troubleshoot methods?
We actually just ran into an issue this week where this troubleshooting didn't work for us. We seem to be having a port issue with Onyx getting stuck connected to a port that the USB isn't in, which is causing the USB not to transfer data properly (we have tried everything we could think of to reasign the ports and did many reboots and software/cutter resets to see if that fixed it with no luck). What ended up working for us was switching from USB to TCP/IP. We are still looking into the root cause of the issue, because we would like to be running USB, but for now it is at least up and running again. Hopefully this helps if you haven't been able to get yours working yet. If you were able to get yours fixed already, do you know what was causing the connection issue?
Thanks
Thanks
Wheres the first half of the video????
Good work ❤❤❤
please show how you set this up in the machine so that it knows its a side hat. im having trouble setting a side hat logo up on my baurdan
You have to tell your Automat that you are sewing on a cap, this will flip the design 180 degrees. Go into your trace screen, then adjust the placement using the arrow keys on the automat (plastic keys) to shift your design up, down, right, left. Your hat will rotate as you push the arrow keys left or right. Watch your laser when you trace your design to see if you have it in the desired location.
Have you ever tried an NT cutter knife?
You can use a screw driver and pop the top off if you can get it
Thanks, we will try that
how can I get this software?
Wilcom.com, and the Barudan comes with it's own software
What are the sizes thank you great idea
Hat manufacturers/distributors will often give their recommendations for decorating their products. Different hats have different amounts of space. Also, your embroidery machine and hooping system will have their own limitations. We usually stay within about 5" x 2" max for a hat front.
do you have a tutorial on doing bucket hats with this same hoop?
Thanks for the question and video suggestion! We will be producing some bucket hats in a week or so, we will be sure to shoot a video. They are not as easy to hoop as ball caps! You have to fold the sides in so it looks kind of like a cowboy hat. One thing to check is if they have a double layer of fabric where you will be embroidering, this can cause additional problems for you. If you have to do yours before we get our video up, try using sticky backer and long, wide tear away backer for structure and stability.

How do I pull it up
Hello im sorry how much memory designs can this machine hold
Hi there! The Barudan has 100 design slots & a 70 million stitch internal memory. Designs can be loaded from a USB memory stick or directly from the network.
Hi, How do I repair when that low shaft gear is moving but not the hook shaft gear?
Great video. I would add that the gathering clip is also needed to to hold the material tight on the back of the cap frame. By doing this, it helps with registration specially if you do the sides of the cap.
Great point! This video cuts off before attaching the clip, we will be sure to re-shoot! Thank you so much for helping us grow!

We don't make the shirts, we just embroider them.
after I click "START" I get the message "completed with an error", already restarted the printer and the error continues. Tried to contact the xerox asssistence and they not respond me, do you know what that error is? ty very nmuch
Hello, try moving your paper to one of the larger trays, if this doesn't work you can try taking the gsm to the next range lower when setting the paper type. We hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
That's not the suction cap.
Hi! This is a great video and helped me a lot however after adjusting PF (and correct measurement), I started printing sample square and still one side of it is shorter. It seems like printer has not saved settings and adjustment. Both PF Adjust and printing was on the User 7. Do you know how to save these settings?
what kind of transfer tape do you use?
We use the Briteline Transfer Tape from Grimco.
Just purchased my Epson 60600 and my first order is... a double sided lol.... thank you so much for the tutorial! very helpful
That was one of the best ideas I have ever seen to apply transfer tape on a decal. Thank you!
I lost the USB stick. Is there a link where I can download all the frames & clamps files? Thanks
You could search this page: www.barudanamerica.com/software-downloads/ or contact Barudan for assistance at techsupport@barudan.com
Where do you download the sheet at?
We received the file from one of Graphtec's technicians, so I am not positive on where to download it online. I checked their website to find you a link, but I am not seeing it in with their support downloads. If you want to shoot an email over to digital@kaizink . com we can send you the file for it!
Hi, we have the same oil and are currently struggling to open the can. We cant press the cap down either. We just twist for minutes on end. Any idea how to open this thing?
Keep working on it, you have to push down pretty hard while twisting. If all else fails, poke a hole and transfer it into another container : )

What is the force and speed set to for your pen setting?
For our pen setting we use S1 F10 A3.
Do you know where I can find some free templates like this to practice on?
Hello, we've found free templates that aren't from Pro Vehicle Outlines, but you should still be able to follow the steps in the video and experiment: www.signelements.com/?/vehicletemplates_EN ... Thanks for watching!
What about the ink collecting tray underneath? Above it there's a little plastic well and it's full of gunked up black ink
The ink collection tray has a pad that will need to be replaced periodically as it fills up with ink. The service station (the plastic well) can be ejected to clean if necessary. It is best to remove and soak the printhead while doing any deep cleaning on this printer. To eject the service station you will need to make sure your security access in the settings menu is set to "Level 2" (the default password to do this is 123 if you have not changed it during setup). Then in the settings you will want to go to 4. SERVICE STATION>2. EJECT. This will roll it forwards so that you can clean it. If there is still build up, you can remove the whole unit at this point to clean underneath it as well. I would recommend turning the power off before unplugging the cables to take out the service station. You will also need to unscrew the front plate to create the space to get it all the way out.
A little constructive criticism. While your demo is much appreciated, it is extremely difficult to see what you're doing from the side angle view that the camera operator was showing. This is a system we're considering adding to our SS Pro series CNC. Better angles along with your pacing would be more helpful. Thanks for sharing!
@storytellerHD Thank you for the feedback and constructive criticism. We are always looking for ways to improve.
is there a way to do this from the machine? i have a brother lb5000
Every machine is different, unfortunately we are not familiar with your machine to be able to help you out.
Thanks for sharing! That’s exactly what we recommend.
Thanks
