- A lot of people don’t like the word “sin.” It’s negative. But Christians have to deal with this issue, because Hebrews tells us to throw off “the sin that so easily entangles.” Jesus didn’t save us so we would put up with sin but so we would overcome! Let’s pray and root for each other to avoid sin at all costs-by the grace of God.

Good Morning BTDD family! Praying that everyone is well,full of faith (even as a mustard seed) and grateful for Jesus. It's 4:46 am here in Arizona and I tell you starting my day knowing I'm gathering with brothers and sisters to hear the teaching of the world is a privilege and joy. I go back to the word afterwards and get even more nuggets of pure gold. I don't know any other book like this it just continues to fill my soul thank you Jesus. I pray that the Lord will continue to keep and fill you all with his joy, a hunger for his word and a deeper relationship with him I'm believing that you'll pray the same for me. One day we will meet in heaven hallelujah! Much love and blessings 💐❤️

Good morning Pastor Cymbala and to everyone here within view of this comment i say may God bless you and your loved ones. I struggle with sin every day in action and in thought. This devotional spoke to me today and I'm so appreciative for it.
🌄A Blessed Spring Wednesday In God's Kingdom Field! 🌿There remains a Sabbath Rest (God's Rest). Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that REST. Since we have A GREAT HIGH PRIEST Who Has Gone Through The Heavens, JESUS THE SON OF GOD, Let us hold firmly to THE FAITH we profess. For we do not have A High Priest Who Is Unable To Sympathize With our weaknesses, but we have ONE Who Has Been Tempted in every way, just as we are --yet WAS WITHOUT SIN. Let us then approach THE THRONE OF GRACE with confidence, so that we may RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE TO HELP us in our time of need (Hebrews 4). Though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have DIVINE POWER TO DEMOLISH STRONHOLDS. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself against THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD; and we take captive every thought to make it OBEDIENT TO CHRIST. Some look only on the surface of things. Psalm 119:133
"Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me."
The Word of God is so powerful and majestic, yet at the same time so intimate and practical that it reaches into the daily, often mundane facets of our lives. I read a story of a high schooler whose buddies urged him to join them in a bar. But the young man, whose mother was an alcoholic, had memorized verses from Proverbs about alcohol abuse. He explained to his friends that addiction ran in his family. He had the courage to quote Scripture to them: "Wine is a mocker, and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise" (Proverbs 20:1). They continued to coax him. He replied, "In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper" (Proverbs 23:32). They accused him of rejecting their company, to which he said, "If sinners entice you, do not give in to them" (Proverbs 1:10). "Leave him be," one friend responded. "He's so full of Scripture, we can't do a thing with him!" The Word is our powerful answer to sin each day because Christ Jesus, the Living Word who left heaven to rescue us, has conquered sin in our place.
WHAT IS SIN?
Whatever weakens my reasoning, impairs the tenderness of my conscience, obscures my sense of God, or takes away my relish for spiritual things; in short, if anything increases the authority and power of the flesh over the Spirit, then this to me becomes sin, however good it is in itself
