Very interesting video. I wasn't really into knives when Wenger was in existence (pre Victorinox buyout) so I like learning more about Wengers. You mentioned they seem to have weaker springs, the funny thing is I have an Evogrip 18 which is a Wenger design now made by Victorinox and oddly it has slightly weaker springs when compared with my other purely Victorinox knives. Btw a lot of knife knuts refer to that spring and snap as "walk and talk" You probably knew that though.

    I own a 10 layer Wenger
I got new close to 40 years ago, it is the oldest knive longest in my pocession and i realy love the thing mine has an aluminium shield by the way.
I must say i prefer some of Wengers tools especialy the cissors wich uses the back spring for its opening motion like some leatherman tools, it's lightly serated too.

I have the victorinox evogrip s18 and it’s a very good tool. Very pocketable and takes a little of the best of both companies

As a teen and into my late 20's I always carried Wengers. I think its because they were cheaper than Victorinox.. I still have and use my Highlander...

I got a brand new in the package Wenger Traveler for $23 and thought I had the perfect SAK until I realized it doesn't have tweezers and toothpick😟😠
