Great videos! You give a great deal of information, which I don't mind how you deliver it, though it might be a bit more helpful to accompany the complex concepts with visuals and/or demonstrations.

Very informative. Still, speaking euphemistically, there appears to have been some backroom deals made over the past ten years or so, as standards have vanished from packaging. Even the basic CRI on bulbs is often not shown; when it is, that implies that is added as a sales ploy, suggesting that that company's other lesser bulbs will certainly be worse. Overselling "brightness" has worked for car headlights, and the color quality that many actually desire over absolute brightness is downplayed; now, the latest/greatest is overhyped smarthome tech, where app-controlled lighting has taken over the shelves with grossly overpriced smartbulbs, that provide dumb lighting. Face it, most of us can get up and make it to the wall switch, where a dimmer is about as fancy as I need. I'm not lighting an Aerosmith concert, and so would rather not feel like I'm paying for one.

Thank you! I just ordered a handheld spectrometer from China for 650USD. Let's look how good it is. I intent to test LED lights before I will install them in my home.
