I used to have a lot of rapidograph pens. The ink is great! I just now bought this book off Amazon. It's supposed to be here tomorrow.

Hi Andi. Jim (-.ZeS.-) from Madrid, Spain (a fellow artist and a New Yorker expat living abroad).
Great Book! So Thank You (for real!). I'm not a Comic Book Artist (I do love comic books and have a small collection in comparison to many others) but as an Artist they were my inspiration and I have learned to apply some techniques into my own stuff.
I grew into watercolor and gouache, besides graphite and charcoil, before and I'm working more with Ink now (in parallel with the rest of mediums - it's just an evolution and learning more stuff to use in my artwork) and I am applying a more radical Black & White approach into my art and this book is really good (I learn a lot more from the past - analog world - than from the present - everything digital and of no help to me in what I do, with the exception of some artists because it is just too easy going digital - I've done it and it has nothing to do with actually working the piece from a pencil - but it sells... I know).
Just wanted to thank you for showing this book in your channel (I've been a subscriber for a while now but I din usually post much - my bad, but no time!). I hope I can find it because from Europe it's pretty darn difficult to get some stuff from the US (Asia and China, just fine).
Again... thank you and Cheers from Sunny Spain!!!

With regards to my comment on digital work...
When doing analog you just can't correct, erase and redo on the spot by just clearing the screen and you cannot add black or colour by just changing it on the spot...
So you do really need to plan your work, strategically, and it is extremely more challenging than doing it on a screen. Technology is a great tool but it is not the same.
I am speaking as an Artist that dies not need to make money (as a job) from my Art. If you need a job... go digital! My personal opinion and opinions are like... colours, millions to choose from! (Don't be nasty...).😁✌
      Cheers from Sunny Spain!

Love this style, thank you! How would this be done digitally? Any tutorials please? Or would this book still be a good read?

All the same principles apply whether it’s traditional or digital, and I would recommend reading this book.
