While I love the Kirby Batman concept, the one that caught my attention was Alex Ross's Monster Mash. Many of those short-lived 60's comics riding the coattails of the 1966 Batman series ended up in The League of Regrettable Superheroes book. It's amazing how some D-list characters can shine brighter when given to a talent like Ross.

They planned on doing a trilogy but this didn’t do well

Looks spectacular! I know many don't care for that costume but I always liked her depiction in JLE/JLI. Not the classic "boob window" (which is my favorite) but a really top-notch costume design with the gold and white metallic.

Andy, Ottley did Spider-Man for a while, then he went to Hulk with Donny Cates. Now he's supposed to be releasing a new creator-owned series, but there hasn't been any details released on that yet.

I'd love to see him draw a Lobo comic!

I got the first part to that Avengers with the Inhumans but missed the tie in with another book. I also probably clipped the stamp and wrecked the value of the book. The Count Nefaria trilogy is great. Basically he steals the powers of Power Man, Whirlwind and Living Laser to become Superman. The only thing I didn't like is they were trying to get rid of the Beast so his role on the team kept getting reduced.

Andy, Ross Andru did, in fact work on X-Men briefly (somewhere around issues 35-38, IIRC.) He designed the distinctive new costumes for each member, including Marvel Girl's green miniskirt dress.

The Rocketeer is an interesting character to have for a favourite. I vaguely remember the movie. I think besides the stunningly gorgeous Jennifer Connelly Timothy Dalton was the bad guy? I don't remember much else about it.
