I thought it was decent, I wish the script would have had one more pass and polish, to put in some more humor. The fight in the car on the highway was the best scene. Worth a watch once, but with a tighter script it could have been special.

KRYPTO appears to be CIG. I do wished he'd be like the comic version but I am still OK with it. Unlike some many others, I am not complaining about anything I see. By the way Guy Gardner looks like Guy Gardner; some just don't "get it." This actor as Lex Luthor looks impressive. I agree, SUPES is a bit young but that is OK. I am interested in a superhero movie for the first time for YEARS. Not just interested, but EXCITED. Bring it!

I just don't see the hope in this trailer, don't like the superman casting or the krypto design. The comic it's based on doesn't give me hope. Don't like the costumes. Don't like the look of Lex either. Don't think the whole soundtrack will be as epic as the riffs we hear. Visually it's a tad sharp but the cinematography looks good. Script is gonna be atrocious, I know for a fact that gunn and Tom King are not on Chris Nolans level. Nathan Fillion as guy Gardner is not good casting either. There's some good action shots but I dont like the baseball field, hope that's not the final act. Don't like the kaiju either, why is there a kaiju in a superman movie. . David corensweet looks like a good Clark but he's not a believable superman. I think that's everything. Overall it's a good trailer. The movie could be a whole other story though.

They had the perfect opportunity to introduce Kraven with No Way Home. You could even keep the whole Multiverse aspect in it. Peter down and out, accused of murder, on the run, no tech, no help from the Avengers, or his friends, and The World’s Greatest Hunter comes out of retirement with a death sentence, chooses to do what the government, The Avengers, and a gang of villains couldn’t do. Hunt and Take Down The Spider for one last Hunt.

Andy, I’m surprised you don’t have Amazing Spider-Man #209 with Kraven. It has a great cover by Alan Weiss and pencils by Weiss.

I've always enjoyed the fantasy/sci-fi art of Larry Elmore, Brom, the late Keith Parkinson, and Adrian Smith. Some of what you are showing has some Paul Bonner vibes to me as well, big fan of Paul's work.

To be honest, I don't like any of these designs. A few aren't that bad, but they are designs from the 90's in the worst way possible. I like the classic design of grey and blue cape and cowl...or black for modern standards.

Here's my take on Absolute Batman. DC said that this is a Batman "Without the mansion... without the money... without the butler...". I was expecting a Batman with limited resources, and has to use proper detective ingenuity to get things done, as well as knocking out a bad guy, which he does well in Absolute Batman #1, but he seems well off with no financial issues, has the physique to beat down anyone big and small, has all the gadgets he needs to get out of scrape, why should I care about this Batman other than "rule of cool". Don't know whether I'll continue or not, I really shouldn't if I'm not enjoying it, but I'll check out issue 2 nonetheless.
