Curious if you used supports when printing the link figure, just in case for future 3d printing, 3d printers cant print in mid-air, so they need a support under them that most 3d printing software has a button to auto-generate

18:30 the hand was mangled because there was no supports put in. you probably had to turn supports on in the software slicer. Without them it starts to try to print the hand in mid air, so you just end up with strands of plastic stuck to the nozzle that will eventually stick to the main part of the model, then eventually enough of that built up to "support" the rest of the arm being able to print. Ultimaker cura is a better free slicer program to use, you should be able to find settings that will work with that printer. that will give you a lot more control over things like layer height and be able to choose things like adaptive layer height, control retraction, and temperature to prevent stringing. Looks like decent enough detail for this sort of printer. You'd be able to print some decent stuff with it. but most of the time the first few things you need to print are things to make the printer better. like a proper spool holder for the filament.
That's what I was gonna come down here and say, too. I hope he reads this cause it's possible that it won't print toooo b ad if he can do supports with the program it included.

They're made by Jake Lazer, another content creator on TH-cam who tried to make stuff from movies and shows in real life as close to the actual thing as possible. He did a lot of Spider-Man builds, which inspired him to make the shooters. They're really fun!

I'm pretty sure the toy gun you bought is illegal to sell in the USA. USA requires that imitation guns be brightly colored and/or have a 6 inch orange tip in order to be sold.
Hey, the biggest thing you need to realize with 3-D printing is to add support that will probably solve the issue with the hand being printed incorrectly. I did that exact same thing when I first started.

I shopped in TEMU once and all my purchases were 10/10. But I agree there are many knock off there but a person really has to look well. For example I had in my amazon wish list a phoenix wooden puzzle one day I went to TEMU to search for phoenix related stuff and boom the same puzzle shows up with the Only visible difference in the head the TEMU version head looked a little bit like a peacock

Our Desk Mats arrived today 🎉 They are great the quality is fab but the graphics, colors and design is just amazing. My husband and I liked it so much we got one each for our desks.

The 3d printer mangled the hands because they were printed in the air. It actually came out kind of clean for an improperly sliced model. Those parts of a model need a support attached to print. You'd see the same issue with a $5k printer. It could be a limitation of the software used though. It might not have an option to generate supports.
10:30 exact same thing happened when i bought my dad a cheap drone. took it outside for the first time, he pressed up, panicked, didn't know what to do, and it just flew away.
i could be mistaken because i haven't had a tamagotchi in literal decades, but the real ones i'm pretty sure had a hidden reset button. i think you had to use a paperclip in order to press it. likely to prevent kids from accidentally resetting them
