im not even from a country which allows firearm ownership and i enjoy watching guns being painted. I even mimic paintjobs i see on my airsoft guns lol.
Really like this format of video. Its alot more immersive when we're seeing what you're seeing rather than just being on a tripod or in someone elses hands recording you
At first I was like "cool, that's a nice way of them not requiring Lucas to be on camera since he's so busy" but then during the shooting he was like "one charlie, gotta step up" and I was like "nope, that's him"
This video is absolutely full of knowledge and I am loving it. This is one of the best videos I’ve seen from Trex Arms because it’s just so unscripted and gives you that real behind the scenes feeling. There’s so many low key tutorials in this video for people too, it’s crazy. This content is what makes Trex Arms stand out. Please do more.
In my early days of becoming a guard, i watched your running and gunning videos every shift. Got me through some long nights. Love the content, keep it up 🇺🇸
Man those first 20 minutes were so soothing to watch. I really hope you guys keep making this type of content every now and then. It hit different watching the build literally from 0, no edits
More videos like this, please! Love watching things being built. Back when used to watch TV, this is the only kinda content I would watch. I don’t even think they _have_ shows like that anymore.
Lucas thank u for being a 2A stand up guy bringing us good videos with alot of work. I see all these whiney ass comments from people and it sickens me because they will be the ones to fold. Thank u and your team bro
Amazing, how easy it is to convert a standard weapon into a custom one and seeing the process from this perspective and everything that happens during it was incredible, great video
This guy is genius in making the video, totally getting every filmed moment on here is so Jedi. Phone cut out, but hey I wanna say at the end he coulda booked it outta the range after it starts raining and stuff all his gear and rifle, ruck. If he was switching to normal clothing with molle on his back sprinting away, long jumping over creek swamps lol and just the element of going back to safety or an element that puts him in like a Born Identity film mode. Its so cool with how fast he adapted to that gun. Mad Props, he's a soldier and Kassak in this all.
I could watch the build portion (and the shooting portion, too (but mostly the build portion)) for days. More of this, please. Different builds, load outs, pistol & rifle, etc. Also, lol at the IG scroll at the end.
Best paint/attatchment/sling/organization tutorial youve made yet. I love how your time management is when painting. Cuz paint drying is so hard to watch
I’m saving up for a BCM upper thanks to ya’ll and Ben. I’ve started shooting USPSA so my shooting budget is getting eaten up by 9mm. But we’re getting there.
Love the press checks on every firearm as you put hands on it, always good seeing safety doesn't get put on the backburner no matter how much one shoots or how familiar they are with the guns they have on hand
I love the way you did this video!! It’s informative, has ASMR, before/after results, and being first person view it makes it feel like I’m there/playing a game. 😎 Love your guys’ stuff, T.REX Arms!!
Amen! As much as we enjoy our hobbies and toys, don’t forget to follow God’s true purpose for us which is to build strong relationships with others and to love one another with our heart soul mind and strength!

Been a subscriber for years. I was looking forward to this video after the instagram post. No where to be found in my feed and it’s the only channel I do notifications for. Unsettling.
Just went to go visit my brother out in Cleburne, Tx while he is in town from his work project. He has some acreage that way and has a nice setup to run and gun safely out there. Brought my 14.5" P&W Centurion in 5.56 to finally put it through it's paces. So my family and I are all having a blast out there and during one of my turns I stepped in a big ass ant pile without noticing until I felt the little bastards biting my calf and ankle. Now my right leg is covered in bites and you can imagine the uncomfortableness i'm going through right now. My luck of course that they were ants of the fiery kind. At least I can watch my fellow 2Aers get down on YT. Y'all stay safe out there and watch out for ant piles!
I have gone on too long being silent. PLEASE will you watch a 30 second video on how to wear a Nato strap for your watch. It drives me NUTS watching you run around for years with that flap just flopping around.
This is the AR I built, essentially. 11.5 QRF BCM Upper on an Aero Lower with Giessele SSA Trigger, Charging Handle and Buffer Spring. I'm running a Saker 556 full size can B5 sopmod stock with TRex Arms sling. I love this AR more than the DD or the KAC AR's I own.
This one got me all fired up I was already at the range running pistol , sat down to watch this and immediately switched to rifle and running the print off drills from website….all while blasting old school kill switch engage lol I was a running and gunning stereotype for all of 3 hours…now home in crocs and bball shorts watching it again
I see a paint booth and some baling wire in your future! My back hurts watching you bend down for another coat! Thanks for the first person perspective. These videos and your knowledge have helped me become better equipped.
Had to Aimbot, just like i had to watch it. Dont listen to the haters Lucas keep doing you an showing people how to have fun getting reps. Great job on all the channels from all the small arms crew you guys are the best.
The amount of time I’m willing to spend watching guys spray paint their weapons will never get old to me

Same. I feel like I learned a lot more from this perspective that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise
At first I was like "cool, that's a nice way of them not requiring Lucas to be on camera since he's so busy" but then during the shooting he was like "one charlie, gotta step up" and I was like "nope, that's him"
If you can’t tell that’s his body language and mechanics until you heard his voice you don’t pay much attention.
You didn’t see him painting like he was using a shot timer?
Also checking the watch time like he's holding an AR mag too
When I saw all the partially washed off writing on his left and during the painting/build process, I knew it was Lucas.
He wasn't drinking at least 10 reigns so I can't tell it was him either
I think every gun owner has a container with 100 random allen and torx wrenches we've collected over time

Rite of passage.

I miss your old running and gunning vids. I used to love watching you put lead down range 👍🏻
Gonna try to bring some back, hence this video. Skip forward to the shredding.
I got to the end and a big smile appeared on my face.

Yeah, I need to get my range set up like lucas. Also, he is smooth with it!
Pretty dark for a shop, ain't it? You got that main menu ambience lol. Keep up the good work. Always love your vids and products.

I kept expecting Clarice Starling to shuffle in with her pistol drawn.
Loved this. Super raw just hands on gun play. Very informative without saying a word

Years later I was only a lieutenant back then, doing some wetwork T-Rex arms.
It's the name you get when your hands can't reach into the front pockets of your jeans. Better than short wave.
You should have added a POV of you having a lunch break and making a sandwich in this style
Instead of using a butter knife to spread mayo, he would have dumped it out of the jar, picked up a handful and spiked it on a piece of bread.
yes
LMAO! Awesome!
Cheeky bastard

Hot damn that was entertaining from start to finish. Way cool to see you build it, and that range session was nuts. Awesome.
More of these Please. Love watching building/setting up the gear than shooting. Vids on building guns and equipment are my favs.

Great video, Lucas! Hoping the continuation of these videos that are shot (no pun intended) in POV angles .
I think this is the "asmr" they are talking about. Incredibly satisfying

This has to be one of the most satisfying videos I’ve seen of building an AR.
0:10 - did you just shoot full auto? Is the Aero Lower and BCM upper a fully auto capable combo? I'm confused.
Actually a good question
A little late, but aero lowers need some extra work to accept a FA FCG. Bcm uppers are gtg though, they have full auto bolt carriers.
I was thinking a high end trigger on 3 round burst
This video was perfection, love every video from trex but i can watch this video on repeat for hours, so simple yet so enjoyable, great work!
I like this so much
Always seeing you around, keep on the gas Johnny, the content is great.
Good question…
Just got home after 5 hours out in the desert with the family putting lead down range. Dropped 3,200 rounds today. Love the first person perspective.
