i saw in the arcade version if you jump after throwing the stone after defeting the last boss (green boss/hulk) before the entry of the castle : the stone change into gold and you will be with a gold armor to enter final stage, it is reality, no fake, no bs. Best Regards.
Wow! Yeah I saw that many times, the stone turning golden. I actually thought it was a glitch, but now that you mention it I'll check it out. Thank you very much for pointing that out. So many times playong and there's always something new to discover. I play Double Dragon for more than 30 years. First time I played was in an arcade machine at a Switzerland restaurant entrance in a train station back in 1988. There were some russian guys playing amazed by the great graphics that you could actually move and control. We were all amazed in fact but that was 3 years prior the USSR dissolution and the many early 90s wars as a result. Those days were the peace before the storm. I can't believe how much the world has changed since. Playing arcade games brings me back to those days when everything was peace and happiness.
@@paschan @Sebastian Gottret i was amazed when i was young, nostalgy stay forever, i feel your happiness. i discovered this one in France, when i was playing in fairground arcade room, no console version match with arcade version. The golden armor in fact is a reality no a glitch, so i never encountred this on TH-cam or Google, please if you succeed please let me know, it s little tricky so if you can repeat the process with saving state on emulation.
That's a nasty stage you know with concrete bricks coming out the wall to hit you, the demon statues that could move and stab you lol as when I played this when it was at local arcades I could get to this stage without losing but this was frustrating as by when I got to willy I would have bad health or had to put in a quarter.
