Thank you for having us! We’ve been coming to Half Moon for years, since we’re so close, and figured the world needed to see it! Are there any other places in town that you would recommend? Aside from chain restaurants, Half Moon and Pastarriffic are the only two we go to often, but would love to find more gems!
@@braceyourselfchannel Hacienda - their wet burritos are EVERYTHING! I like them with shredded chicken and no beans. They have good drinks too. Dirty Dan's Donuts are #1. The chocolate cake donuts, strawberry cake donuts, spice/applesauce cake donuts, bear claws, apple fritters, cream horns, maple cream filled, chocolate cream filled... you have to get there right when they open though. It's on Hoffer Street. El Arrieros too - their half pitcher frozen margs are good. Cone Palace right off 31 on the South side of town. YUM. Frozen Custard on Webster street SO GOOD. I haven't lived in Kokomo for about 10 years. I live in West Lafayette now. :) I'm sure there are others I'm leaving out.
If you come to WL, there are so many good places... Revolution BBQ is hands down my favorite. Their BBQ Brisket, chicken, cornbread... and all their desserts are good. Crabby Mike's BBQ is good too - their pulled pork but most prefer Revolution. 9 Irish Brothers is really good and we love the owner. Mountain Jack's - kinda expensive and a bit outdated but the food is so good. La Scala. Mary Lou's Donuts (SO GOOD). Red Seven. Triple X (Guy Fieri ate here). McCord's Chocolate Shop.
@@sksainc688 WOW! Thank you so much for all of those recommendations! We’ve thought about trying to do videos in WL, Bloomington, Muncie, and South Bend showing off what the big college towns have to offer, so we will definitely check out a ton of those places!
@@janasheets890 unfortunately this year the feast is happening as we’re pulling into Gatlinburg for Grace’s fall break. Hopefully next year the schedules will allow us to do both!

My hometown and pretty good food and some good beer!! You should have ordered a Kokomonster beer and a breaded tenderloin for the ultimate Indiana experience!!
@@braceyourselfchannel if you get a change to go to Nicks in Huntington Indiana they are the originators of the tenderloin and still going strong. Such a cool throwback place with awesome pies also!!
