@@123shoshan according to Pff, QB ranked 12, d-line group ranked 26, WR group ranked 25 and that’s the only position group they posted thus far. I guarantee when they release position group rankings for secondary and linebackers we’ll be bottom half.
@@dyinpeace we missed the playoffs lol, you think we should be at the top everywhere? at some point you just have to win games. To be fair I think we are better in both spots, especially D line with Armstead coming in 26 seems a little crazy but you win single digit games for a few years people aren't gonna crown you.
I think this roster can get it done & win the Superbowl & if we catch fire & on a strong winning streak than if we need to trade for a player to put us over the top for a Superbowl than I say do it
PFF have openly disliked Gabe Davis's skill profile and had massive questionmarks around BTJ. With no proven reliable WR depth, it prolly explains most of it. As long as the Line is even somewhat better than the trainwreck last year, theyll definitely be able to throw the ball down the feild at the minimum.
They rank our receivers near the bottom based off of the receiving numbers from last season, but also calls Trevor overrated and use stats that don’t tell the whole story to compare him to Daniel Jones. Trev finally has some taller receivers and receivers that will force the opposing defenses to worry about getting beat deep
Quit underselling Evan Engram's contributions to the position. He'd be considered a top 3 TE if he had the numbers from last season while playing in a larger market like Dallas or NY. That's a guarantee lock
Good, nothing better than to have all that hype off your back and replaced with a big ole' chip on your shoulder. Remember how they responded to all the dissing in 22 vs the expansion stations last year.
As a Jags fan, I don't really disagree with where we are ranked. I love what we have done with Kirk, but after that so many questions. A castoff in Davis, and a WR in the 1st I wouldn't touch with a first round pick
Lmao, the fact that they have numbers on players 2 months before they even make game snaps is funny, but that's what you get when you have metrics that measure subjective attributes with imperfect information. It's not like I think our receiving core is super elite, but I wouldn't take pff's scoring system into account. Also, my information is imperfect. Everyone's information is imperfect right now. Pff just guises their opinions through feigned objectivity rather than the mask off inane rambling of the other major media sources.
keep in mind that they do not like BTJ and our WR group is basically second guys from other teams. You don't miss the playoffs if every group on the team is top 10 in the league guys.

If you get angry about people not being particularly positive about that group you are in la la land - and thats coming from someone that wears very teal glasses.
Just be happy they have low expectations. Cause it's gonna feel so good to watch them shut everyone up.

top 10 is a far cry from 25 though. which admittedly i think this rank is a lot more realistic than the d line rank was.
You might if the top contributors from every single position group minus dline is hurt.
