I agree - the antique stores are OK but you know that the stuff is all pretty interesting and probably worth some money whereas at Goodwill you could find anything from rubbish to very special things

Your Goodwill is so much better priced than mine! Mine is actually selling items that came from the Dollar Tree for $3.99 & $4.99! I know because the Dollar Tree sticker is still on the bottom! So frustrating!
I have been doing stained glass designs (Gothic Glass studio Etsy) for decades and love working with the 'frosted' glass you liked in the glass box. It is actually called "glue chip" glass. The frosted pattern is made by applying glue in between clear glass and firing it.
My grandma who has since passed had lots of Avon perfume bottles from 70s and I have most of them. I love them because they bring back memories and remind me of her ❤💜💙💚💛
Those Spode floral plates are beautiful!! There were actually some teacups or coffee cups in that same pattern mixed in with another floral! I was so hoping you would go back and grab those!! I was yelling but you didn’t hear me! Hahaha!

My Aunt had that crying bunny on her dresser. I think she had one that was in it's bed little foot sticking out. I would love to have those bunnies now. She died at 93 and I can remember those bunnies when I was little. I am almost 60. So that would have made them over 70 years old.

Came to say that. Made for old irons actually made of iron. My Mam used those when I was a child, heated one on the hob while using the other till it cooled down, then swapped it out for the hot one. Heavy and worked great, but always had to use an ironing cloth to prevent singes and often used damp to steam out creases. 😊

I have a china desk set from maybe 1982 or 83 that’s way up there on my favorite items. It had a pencil tray, note pad holder and what is a trinket box that’s meant for paper clips. It’s a simple spray of flowers done by transfer but it’s one of those things that sparks joy. It was Avon forgot that part!!!
I have all my dad's old Available n cologne bottles. He didn't use but maybe one or two but loved the cars and different containers, mostly because they were gifts!
I don't believe for a hot second that Avon is making a comeback..lol.i think that's just somebody hoping it will .I have a few pieces myself that were given to me ..the only thing that I ever bought myself was the Avon bee hive .I still have the little spoon that goes with it..u got some really great stuff..I remember when everyone thought velvet paintings were so tacky..and I never embarssed them .

Love your channel! The floral decalware cup you picked up was Hazel by SCIO I believe that is correct spelling. There were several piecies on the shelf and a few pieces of spode mixed it I believe. The Hazel dishes are actually worth quite a bit. Again I love your channel!!

Mine too....an average shelf will have a random empty box, a plastic basket, a silk flower that fell it’s stem, an old non-working shredder and maybe a ceramic dollar store mug...yep, that’s about it

I think that last item was an iron rest. Those heavy hunks of metal that were heated on the stove before someone invented electric irons.
