If businesses do not have email list yet but want to start building, they can start with targeting locations first. By using a few search tools, they can achieve the ultimate goal of building an email list from scratch. Step 1: Use a USPS Address Lookup to target locations of audience you want to reach Step 2: Use data append tool to unlock who resides in the generated addresses (if residential), including their email address Those two tools help businesses to build email list from scratch instead of resorting to buying leads which usually come out unqualified with high bounce rate.

Of course my answer will vary depending on your goals and budget, BUT without that information, my top recommendations: If you have a website already, usually your website host will offer email marketing as an "upgrade". Like Squarespace!! If you don't have a website, then I would use Flodesk! They have an email list collector 'form' option so you don't need to have a website to send your freebie or build your list 🥰

I love that you support BIPOC creators/businesses and actually mention it. I feel like I can share your vids w my teammates for this reason. We’ve spent HOURS looking for coaching channels/vids/content in this industry that isn’t made by yt folks and/or doesn’t only cater to yt folks. IG and FB algorithms do hide BIPOC (and sometimes queer/trans) content that they think might make yt ppl uncomfortable. For those of you that might get annoyed or don’t understand - Aside from the algorithm issue, entrepreneurship is one of the only ways available to some people to get out of the poverty, so representation is really important to show people that they can help themselves! When an industry is majority anything (white, make, straight, etc.) inequality will exist. It becomes a real issue when people don’t want to talk about it. Thank you for your work!
Wow, I so hate receiving emails from websites and channels, I would always unsubscribe from receiving emails cuz I would always get spammed like over 100 emails per day, couldn't cope with so much, time is precious

I skipped all of the "why" part of the video because you've made a video on that before (which I've watched). I would've appreciated actually giving us ideas on how to grow a list, like where and how to promote your email list. I appreciate that you want people to sign up to your course but this honestly wasn't even slightly helpful.

When I first mentioned email lists on a previous video I had sooo many people who didn't even know what that was so my goal with this video was to make it as simple and basic as possible, then if it performed well and people seemed interested, I would continue on with a series on my channel. I didn't even think to include all the other advanced steps, didn't even cross my mind! 🙊 You're such a sweetheart for being honest and I'll be sure to title my videos more accurately in the future 🧡🧡
You “promote your list” when you promote your leads. For example, say if your freebie (or exclusive offer) was a checklist and you told people to go grab it, that’s promoting your list. Picking up what I’m putting down?
Can you do updated content like this for list building tips, newsletter writing ideas, content strategies for writing your newsletter, nurture campaign stuff. Not so much specific campaigns but the nurture list
great video. But what email do I use to send out emails? gmail? email provided by your web hosting? or a different email hosting provider. I have my domain set up with namecheap, but I've read they are horrible with customer service and your emails get sent to spam.

In my online business we sell handmade items such as Earrings, Earring Storage etc I am wondering what freebie can I offer to entice people to join our VIP list. ATM we do offer a monthly prize draw. I was thinking SMS marketing might be a better option as I like most people get so many marketing emails in my inbox that I now just delete and don't really look a them as I am time poor.

Also Tattoos are also bad and in the Book of Leviticus God said that we should not print marks upon ourselves, God also doesn't want us playing with magic in the book of leviticus but I am not condemning anyone it's better to ask God for these things but this is what I've found. You already need to have followers and subscribers to make an email list. So um, no you aren't making this video for beginners.
