I hear Alaska is way overvaluing the properties to collect more in taxes... What's going on with that ???
Year over year we see roughly +/- 3% appreciation in terms of Market Value. In terms of Appraised Value, for Municipal and Borough tax purposes, some areas have seen increases in property taxes over the past few years. That being said we don't pay a State Tax or Sales Tax in most places. So in my opinion it's kind of a wash.
