Kyle is one hell of a fisherman. I have been bumping into him for years on the river.

Kyle is steelhead/salmon whisperer. Amazing fisherman. I’ll be trying these trout eggs!

I fish there with my old Tica reel on a 9’ Grandt All American Pro series, had my setup since I was 14yrs old and now 33yrs old. Love that place for steelhead

Im trying to plan a trip what area and streams would be best to fish in January?

With the right tackle and quality bait steelhead are attainable in every Michigan tributary in January as long as they aren't iced over.

Just off bottom, adjust accordingly to the hole or run your fishing. Kyle's the Pro, I just observe.

Hope that guide knows that mono actually sinks not floats. He would see better success running a braid for floating and mending purposes. Guy seems fishy still so don’t really matter I guess 🤷🏽‍♂️

Its funny that every float line on the market is made from mono. Maybe you should call the companies up and let them no they should stop selling as float line.

I made the mistake of using braid in 20°F. Frozen line and guides on a 9'6" pole isn't fun.
