I truly appreciate it a lot.
This is the first video I've seen of yours and it is one of many more to come I'm sure. I've been doing construction and maintenance for over 25 years but I always stayed away from electrical, until 4 years ago.
I am now autodidact in many things both AC and DC from cell phone repairs to 240v relays and most things in-between over the past four years. Electrical has been by far the best thing I've done to boost my experience and the most useful thing I could done to further my all around experience. It has even became my new favorite past time, I swear I'll keep wanting to learn about electrical till my last day. Thank you Sir, and great video, I look forward to many more from you.

I prefer the narrower 11 pin relay sockets. Saves room in crowded panels. For the last 25 years or so all of the relay sockets that I ordered had the very confident DIN Rail mounting. Back in the 1970's we had to drill & tap two holes for every re!at socket . Preferred the ice cube relays that have a little LED to let you know when coil is energized. Makes troubleshooting easier.

I am working on a 12 terminal Inkbird IDT-E Timer Relay (The Wiring Diagram Sticker on it says IDT-E2RH) But the Silk Screened Label on the Housing says IDT-E. Terminal 5 on the wiring diagram is labeled "OV". But nowhere can I find what this means or a description of what this is for. Terminal 4 is labeled +12 VDC out for sensor use only. I'm not sure if I will end up using a sensor but I have to use both a Gate switch and a Reset switch. Could it be that the "OV" Terminal is where to connect the gate,Reset and Sensor Return wiring to and without those systems interfering with each other? Thanks for the videos.

    Good Morning Craig,
The following is what I need to do.
I have a chick egg incubator which has 2 separate circuits.
    (1) 220v AC input which powers 220v AC heater and fan.
    (2) 12v DC input which powers 12v DC heater and fan.
So the incubator can use either 220v AC Mains supply or 12v DC supply from a 12v battery.
Normally I run the incubator using the 220v but during one of numerous mains power outages I switch off the mains and switch on the 12v supply.
The problem in having to manually switch over from 220v to 12v .
Therefore I am looking for a automatic changeover that senses when the 220v goes off and switches it to the 12v supply and can then switch back to the 220v when the mains supply comes back on.
I am thinking to use an 11 pin DPDT relay (what coil voltage ?)
Can you kindly assist how to do this.
    Thanks John
