- My first impression of the MAC 9 DS 2011 is that you don't have to break the bank to get a quality double stack 1911. This pistol has all the bells and whistles that the higher priced 2011's come with. It's upgradeable,(but not necessary) the fit and finish is great and the build materials are top notch. It has a smooth slide, great trigger and it's a 1911, a tried and true platform. Its worth way more than you pay for it. GET YOURSELF ONE!!!

Nice review. I have 900 through mine now with 0 malfunctions. Its not as nice or smooth as a staccato, but its way better then the Prodigy, Girsan Witnes 2311, or Apollo 11. It is the best 'Budget' 2011 on the market now IMO. Running mine with a Holosun 507 COMP and SteamLight TLR-1 HL and its a sweet shooter.
Man i might have to buy one of these...they seem to work in every video i've seen and now there are people such as yourself saying they work...man i need a less expensive hobby lmao.

What's up Zack Attack on the last live with RGG you had asked me did I put a toolless guide rod in my MAC 9 DS, yes I put the Atlas 4.25 DLC in it with the 11lb recoil spring and their Wilson Combat buffer and I took it to the range it made a difference nice and smooth bruh. Start slow with the shots about 5o rounds before doing any rapid fire, you should be fine bruh... 😎

The 1st vid of yours i watched was your recent review of that Gideon Omega optic, whiched prompted me to buy 8 of them and was glad to see it on that Mac ds9. I wish i could attend the ARM4 this year to meet all you guys, but unfortunately work requirements gonna prevent it... but next year its on brother! Definitely keep the internets posted on this pistol. I'm really curious if this thing will run. I have a couple Canik pistols which is also Turkish and those have ran great and I've really dumped some rounds through those guns. I want this thing to work well because I want a 2011 and I really don't wanna spend $3k on a freakin pistol.

shell ejectors are running at every angle possible.. might need some bit tuning but looks like it run nicely

Looks like it had pretty erratic ejection. Can’t tell if the brass was bouncing off the front of the optic or if the extractor needs tuning. But looks pretty good for the price
Shot this for the first time with my Stacatto CS. I tried shooting with my right hand only and this gun shot smoother than the CS. Granted, its a longer barrel but i thougth that was very interesting.
I think if you thought it was smoother than your CS then you need to sell your CS, you do not have what it takes to own a gun like that, stick with the MAC, and be happy.
@@roguemodel I have what it takes to own whatever gun I want, thank you for your opinion. I might sell the CS but I’ll keep it for now cuz I can. The MAC was an impulse buy. I should have bought a CZ shadow instead so I might sell it for that. Or you know… whatever I want.
What up Zach, that seems like a pretty nice piece for the money, it has the look, it ran well, good entry level item for the 2011 game for a lot of people including myself, and that optic completes the package....how was the trigger

The polymer grip module is fine. If you don’t like it, just get a metal aftermarket grip.
The stove pipe could've also been caused by the optic... I've seen that happen in slow motion, lol

The pistol shoots pretty flat, but with a 1911/2011 platform you ride your thumb of your trigger hand on the safety, and it acts as a recoil mitigation device with the right grip.
I usually eat recoil pretty well.
