Hi everyone,
I have decided to take a break from the self tan because it was drying my skin as I was using it constantly, every week even if I don’t go anywhere.. Now that I think about it I don’t even know why I did it this whole time because I was covering myself with layers and layers of clothes. Anyway, I’ve stopped for a little while so my skin is back to its natural color.
So this video is all about creating a smokey eye for lighter skin but I’m also going to show the complexion and the whole process basically, using products that I’ve adjusted to my natural skin tone.

I think it’s hard to find tutorials about eyeshadow for deep set eyes (mine are mature)☺️ It would be very helpful if you could make some tutorials with everyday eye makeup for deep set eyes. I know yours are not mature, but maybe you could give some tips and trick for us mature women and how Not to look angry 😬😉

I am a pale ghost and I don't mind. When I self tan I don't feel like myself, so I don't do it. I embrace my paleness! :)

I actually like that you are pale now. I’m pale as well and tends to use self tan. It’s nice to see how to work with our natural “paleness” and embrace it. Because I believe there is a way to emphasize fair/pale skin. Without always trying to make yourself darker.
I've never used fake tan because; quite honestly, I can't be bothered. I prefer to be pale and interesting ☺. The BFF bought the Cle de Peau concealer and she found it too dry for under her eyes. I tried it as well, and it was the same for me, so it doesn't work for everyone. We don't have Sephora in the U.K, so Mario make-up unfortunately has to be bought from the U.S. I love the smokey eye for light skin, so will try it with products I have 💙.
Please do a video about Lipsticks suitable for Light skintone! I'm always struggling.

I just wanna say tks to u today. After testing a few concelears over 2020, I finally found two that really cover my dark circles, I have to use a corrector and one of my color, but it's ok. And this could only happens because of your tips. 😘 from Brasil.
Finally, pls be proud of your skin tone whatever it is. I am extremely fair and would never use self tanner just to change my skin color. We need to be proud and comfortable in our skin tone that God gave us. Embrace your beautiful creamy beautiful skin tone.
I love my light skin tone. I have sun allergy so I have to use high SPF and get tanned just a little bit. BUT at the end of the winter, before first spring sun comes, my light tone changes into "just woke up from a grave after 100 years" tone 😅

*Lemon juice* is a _natural lightener_ that has been used for thousands of years.
_Mix one part lemon_ to one part water, apply this solution with cotton balls on your skin and let it sit for 15 minutes before washing off the mixture using warm water.

Could you do a video about best eyeshadow shades for certain eye colours. I think many of us are looking for that HG eyeshadow to make our eyes really pop. Also, the right kind of red lipstick for different skin tones. I’ve never found my red!

Ms Ali, I’m a 50yr old woman and although I love make up, I buy way too much when I barely wear it because I simply enjoy the art of applying makeup in my quiet time when I’m not even leaving the house. It’s like painting on a blank canvas. Of all the channels, I always love your sincerity, your being very honest and giving products an honest try. We can all agree what might work for one, might not work well for another. I hear you Andrea. I tried Tarte Shape Tape concealer after hearing people loved it and it’s a game changer concealer. I did not like it. It was dry under my eyes and creased. Also I felt heavy eyes. My favourite is Estée Lauder Double Wear concealer.
The cle de peau concealer is honestly so nice once you get the hang of it, try warming it up with your fingers a little and tapping it and blending it with the fingers too, the warmth of your fingers melts the concealer into the skin
I think mine is just too dry. I don’t think it is normally that dry. I even cut the first layer I thought maybe it’s dry because I haven’t used it in a while..

Here is the thing, I'm not a tan girl as I could never get the right tan (it took years for the tan people to get it right) until I stumbled upon Amanda Harrington tan London. The face mist applied with her face brush has to be one of the best tans ever! I'm now a bit of a tan girl and it doesn't dry my skin, it conditions it ❤ x

I love Cle de Peau concealer ( I have it in beige,as well) but only when i warm it up on my finger and apply it like that (no brush used at all, just a finger). It just melts like that and does not look or feel dry.

The cle de peau concealer is also dry on my undereyes and I have oily skin 😩😩😩 it’s less dry when i warm it up with my fingers first then tap it on my undereyes. It sucks since I spent a lot of money on it I dont want to be working around it for it to work. The redeeming quality is that it’s great for spot concealing
