We are already counting down to the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. We do that by looking back to recent editions of Europe's favorite TV show. Our last stop is in 2011, when the contest was held in Dusseldorf, Germany - บันเทิง

Well everyone loved Blue back in the day. Even Lena said to them personally what a huge fan she was when she was like 10. (And then the guys hilariously moved away from her when they realized how young she was) It's such a shame they actually f*cked up this performance cuz with better singing they could have won.
IceCranberry Germany did f*ck up, Lena is just a bad singer and shouldn't have won in 2010.

10 years after I can say confidently that Germany should have won by a mile,with Bosnia and Herzegovina at second place.
Lena’s good but that was never gonna happen. Not the best song deffo not good enough for two on the trot by the *same* person.

Azerbaijan won sms voting and jury favored italy which got nothing from sms. So eventually Azerbaijan being first in sms and second in jury voting. So nothing to understand.

Just showcases how Eurovision actually goes. There’s songs that are loved by the public, loved by the jury, underrated/dark horse, and hated by majority. Another option I would’ve said is internet meme because of Moldova 2010 and Estonia 2011

I could have accepted Azerbaijan winning any of the last 5 Eurovision's, but 2011 was a massive scandal, one of their worst ever entries won. Extremely dull and boring, very unlike Azerbaijan

Hungary, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia, Ukraine and Georgia are the only countries from the final that I like! I think 2011 wasn't a good year... There weren't a lot of songs that I liked, and the songs I did like wasn't so special. Slovenia and Ukraine are the only songs that really stood out for me and that I liked the most :/
Ukraine was so bad- the song is really depressing and it only did well because of the sand art.

This was a very good year, very diverse. The winner however was not that spectecular.

Still wondering HOW THE HELL Poli Genova didn't got through the semi finals back then.
Loved the fact how the two non-qualifiers from that year (Senhit from San Marino and Poli Genova from Bulgaria) both got their revenge in 2016 and 2021.

Wow, it’s really been ten years since we (the United Kingdom) last ended on the left hand side of the scoreboard? Other than San Marino, it feels like everybody else has been there at least once since.
Hopefully that will change next month. (Hell, just a 12 would be nice - we haven’t had one of those since 2016.)
