Juste sublime...

It's sad when Caucasians have that rare pagan folk about narts and ancient prays of old gods But they rather belive in abrahamic religions of the deserts ..
Luljeta Ilic you're wrong. We've found islam for us, and that's why we believe. It wasn't a way to distance ourselves. These were mythical creatures, not a religion. Now we've found our religion, that's all.
@Bitsi Dukkhvakha according to you, our ancestors were as stupid and frivolous as cattle. They were indifferent to moral issues and they did not care what to believe, as long as it was against Russia. It even sounds implausible. A people cannot change their faith for political reasons when they do not even have a single ruler, and my folk is very conservative and very distrustful. Your vile attempts to humiliate and insult our ancestors don't even sound true. Remove the Chechen word from the nickname, shameful. Хьо нохчи велахь/елахь, ахь дуьйцчун ойл е. @Lejeta Do you have Ancestry from Chechnya ? Why did you use that name ? Far as Chechen's today Islam certainly plays a major role in there national identity .But its walking on nails to assume their conversion to Islam was strictly due to Russian influence .
@Lejeta lol, it's not a "part of our national identity", it's the way to God that we, muslims, took for us because it's the only true way and we understand it. Take religion for faith in order to oppose Russia? How can such a thought come to mind. Does it even occur to you that we can be sincerely believers and not just using religion as a some "culture thing" or for our own selfish purposes? There is no such thing as sincere faith for you? It is not known for certain when and how long Islam spread to the Caucasus. Our ancestors began to cognize Islam and more and more people accepted it. And even now not everyone accepts it for real, as it is. They are denying some things and adding something from themselves, because people don't want to accept things that not comfortable for them. And we also have some disagreements over some things like sufizm, wahhabizm etc. But this is a misunderstanding that we will correct if we can come to an agreement between each other inshaallah. War, like any other difficulty, affects people and makes them rally and look at things differently than when people are pampered with goods and live in idleness. Hard times give birth to strong people. Idk what else to say. Sorry for my bad English and possibly aggressiveness of text.
