Don't get me wrong I'm not a hater and I enjoy watching her video. I personally love and adore make up however watching this makes me sick for some reason. I just feel like this is over the top and excessive at its best. Watching this does not make me feel inspired or excited it just makes me feel that you're a hoarder and you really have some issues.
I feel the same way! I love dulce and I could care less how she spends her money, she has worked hard for it. But I felt sick watching this too. It was verging on hoarding. Plus there's no way she can use all of those products before they expire.
It's her money and her house, she can do what she wants with both

Guys don't attack her. I'm obsessed with makeup and I love big collections, but with this there is no way she even knows what she has. If I buy makeup and I test it out and I realize I don't like it/won't use it frequently, I give that shit away. I don't hoard it. Beauty gurus especially have a tendency to stick with certain products.

I have an idea Dulce! why don't you make each 9 drawer set like it's own category i.e. one set is face stuff, other is eyes, lips, etc. so your stuff can be better organize! kinda gave me anxiety how everything was all over the place but nonethless loved it and you deserve everything, just a suggestion though, whatever works for you :) !
It gave me anxiety too! #ocdproblems I was like wahhhhhhh why isn't the lip gloss under the lip gloss drawer why is it mixed! But none the less great collection dulce!!!!!!
Andrea Vazquez I totally agree with you, there was no rhyme or reason for her makeup to be all over the place. I kept thinking to myself why is eyeliners in one unit and then mascara's in another, etc. Dulce if you're reading this doll, just try and dedicate an entire section to one particular product.
The problem is she has already labeled each drawer and as her collection grows, they overflow. It's hard to take down the labels. It might leaves marks on the tower.

I understand that she probably didn't buy all of this, but she should really be donating some of the makeup of giving it to people in need because the amount she has is excessive. She can't be using all of that before they expire

First of all, "people in need" The last thing people in need should be worried about is makeup!! Im sure they are concerned about other more important things like a roof over their head and food in their mouths! Secondly its called a collection for a reason. Whether or not she opens and uses all of her makeup she's collecting it all!! Its her hobby and more importantly her job!!

Am I the only one who couldn't give two rat's asses about how much money she's making and all that. I love this, it's truly beautiful and I just want to play in all of it!! And I'm really glad she's investing into what she loves despite all the people in the comments who honestly give way too much shits about her life. Why do you care? Truly, why do you care? Sameerah Carter-Marrel I agree with you 100%. People who collect cars can't drive all of them at once, and have a hell of a lot of HARD EARNED money put into it, but it's what they love! I applaud her for doing what she loves! People get so mean when they're jealous. But heck yeah, I'd join you in playing in all that stuff too....MAKEOVER PARTY!!! ;)

Anne M. Seriously, Anne, get off here with all that hate. This is certainly not hoarding. I've seen what hoarders' spaces look like and it certainly is not this. Plus, if she's spending HER money, why do YOU care so much. Do live in a commune somewhere wearing one outfit per week and all that jazz. Live and let live oh judgmental one.

Before all of you angry haters type more scathing comments, consider this: no amount of makeup will ever make you truly happy. no amount of money or materialistic possessions will make you happy. if you rely on those things to make you happy, you'll keep buying and buying in the hopes that the glimmer of short-lived happiness it gives you will last, but it won't. Happiness comes from being grateful for what you already have. If you're reading this, you're already so much luckier than a large number of people. You have a computer, you have electricity, water, food, a warm bed. You have the necessities to live and a life filled with opportunities. And when you're 80 years old and you look back at your life, you're not going to think 'damn, i'm really f*cking pissed that my makeup collection isn't as big as Dulce Candy's.' Do something worthwhile with your life, that you can be proud of when you're older.

If I was a company checking her out, after this video I wouldn't send her ANY products just for the shear fact that she doesn't use half of this and that she never gets around to making a lot of videos I would feel like I would be wasting money by sending her products. Also how in the world do you have favorite products with all that you need to use something different everyday just so it's not going to waste. I love you dulce but this is just my opinion.
Advertising on tv and ads in magazines and what not is much more expensive than sending a beauty guru a few products......
Crappie business person. The only thing you need to look at to make your company successful is the amount of followers she has. THAT is how you get successful FREE advertising. Companies love youtubers because they don't need to be paid tons to show a product or review them. While I like your ethics business tends to be a tad more cutthroat

Pshhhhhh... a girl can never have enough makeup! That is how I feel! I am working my way to having as much makeup as you! :) I love makeup, its my passion, whatever I don't use I give away to my sisters, cousins, mom, mother n law, nieces. Just like men have so many tools, and they could never have enough, is the same way for a girl! :) I will never judge someone that has a whole lot of makeup, I will simply be happy for them because they share the same passion as me.

But she has plenty of family if she does give away...people don't understand how hard she works. She earned her way up to be in the position she is to receive free product from great companies, does not happen overnight. You get what you deserve. And she is blessed and she is truly thankful. She says it all the time. Why hate on that....;)

I'm pretty sure companies gave her a lot of makeup so she can do a review on their products. I have 13 packages coming in tomorrow! I do products testing for different companies and I give them feed back! The other day I got 10 packages all in one day and I get to keep all the stuff they send me. If she wants to hoard it, let her! At least she organized and clean! She's not spending your dime, nor is she living in your house with all her stuff, So why does it bug some of you?

Jizzell Reyna its the same thing as secret shopper. you just have to apply online at different sites and find one that is actually legit. it takes a lot of work and usually sounds a lot more fun then it really is but i guess its different for everyone

My makeup collection consists of: two foundations
Two concealers
Two eyeliners
Three mascaras
Two translucent powders
Two lip balms
Nine lipsticks
An eyebrow kit
And one lip gloss. And if I'm to be honest at least a quarter of it all is expired, I still use it though.

I hate that people that have a passion for makeup and love makeup get so much hate for it. Guys this is her job, she does this all for us. She has so much because so is constantly buying and trying out makeup so we aren't left hanging and we know what is good and bad. If having this much makeup makes you happy then do it!!! I personally love makeup so I am kind of biased. But the reason people love makeup is because it helps you feel confident and you can be a completely different person each day. I love that people have the confidence to put themselves out there like this and It's just sad that ya'll don't respect her. Personally I could never put myself out there like she does thank you. Yes it's a lot of makeup, but she actually does videos and wears make up for videos, meetings, etc. She works in the fashion world. And just because it's a lot doesn't mean she doesn't use it all, it just gives her more variety and she has worked hard to have the luxury of being able to choose from a variety of products. Instead of hating and complaining, work hard and buy all the makeup you want and donate it all if thats what you want. She served your country and all she deals woth every day is whining brats complaining about something at small as makeup and how much money she makes. Some of your parents earn more than her and probably haven't donated more than a few clothes to goodwill in their entire life. Makeup is a luxury, NOT a necessity.
And I've been following your channel since I was in high school. I've been watching you from the beginning and you didn't have all this. I've watched you grow and you have been a great role model for me. It just pisses me off when people complain about you doing things that dont harm or effect anyone while you have worked your ass off to get to where you are.

I know right. If she spent her actual money on it I would be concerned but almost all of it has been given to her by companies.
No one is jealous that she has a million shades of foundation and powder that she doesn't use. There is hate because she's a hoarder and this is way more excessive than any other makeup collection, especially considering all of this makeup is just for her. She's not a makeup artist. She doesn't know what she has. If someone stole half of her makeup, she wouldn't have a clue what products were missing. It's just impractical to spend thousands of dollars on products you don't use. Or remember.
If I had all of this makeup, I would feel so incredibly pressured to use it all. I know a lot of people collect makeup not to use it all, but just because they like collecting it. But being the kind of person I am, I would feel so terrible for being so wasteful because I could never use every single product. I would feel unorganized and selfish. I love having a decent amount of makeup, but I'd never even want to have this much.
Kezia Hughes I agree with you. Don't get me wrong, it's a DREAM to own so much stuff but it would just be too much to handle. I'm perfectly happy with my 2 Alex drawers (not towers... just 2 drawers lol) that I use to hold my make up. Also the main difference I see is that mines are filled with high brands (Chanel, Guerlain, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, just to name a few) while most of her collection is drugstore stuff such as Maybelline, NYX and L'Oréal (that brand gives me pimples like there's no tomorrow). Nothing wrong, but I rather have less of better quality products.

Makeup lasts A LOTTTTT longer than 4 years.. Certain things like cream powders and liquid foundations should be kept watch for but powders don't really go bad.
In one of her older makeup collection videos, she mentions that she does regularly throw out make up that she doesn't use, like or is out of date.
***** not true. Look up eyeshadow palette expedition dates. Mascara should go every few months!
If you store makeup properly like she does you can disregard those dates. Its about the texture, smell, any noticeable changes. Mascara is a cream product which harbours bacteria every time you use it, which is why you should get rid of every 3-6 months.
She cleans out her stuff so that doesn't happen :)

theoboegoddess There are many great products in or out of the drugstores. Some drugstore makeup products are better than a few high priced items I could name. Just because someone has the means to get all the expensive makeup they want doesn't mean they have to pass up on the good items, even if they might be cheaper.

she will never know what it feels like to use up an entire lipstick and throw away the tube. it actually feels great. I've been trying to use up some of my older makeup and it's fun and feels good to actually use up a product.

I got so overwhelmed just watching this video.....
I think some people forgot the fact that it is literally HER JOB to have all of these products. Make up, Fashion, Hair and everything beauty in between is what she does for a living. She wouldn't be a TH-camr with over 1million followers if she didn't have all of these things. It's literally what she needs to support herself and her family. I think to often many of us get caught up in the envious evils of the world and forget many of these woman that we watch are making a living by doing giving us stuff to watch. Sure she doesn't post as much as she once did and doesn't have a ton of giveaways or whatever you want her to have but this isn't just her life. She has a family, she has other work as well and a life. I think that we all need to take a step back and think about why she has all this stuff? Why she does what she does? Why she doesn't post as much? and everything in between. If you don't like it I'm sure you can move along but before you judge her think about the "WHY" and reflect on yourself. I'm a Dental Assistant and I have tons of Scrubs and books and tools and lots of tennis shoes because it's my JOB to have those things, but I have other stuff and sometimes I can't go to work because I'm sick or my kid is sick or whatever the case may be. We are all different but in ways we are all very much the same.
I adore Dulce, she was the first TH-camr I ever followed and watch. She is the reason I became so obsessed with Beauty, I think she does an amazing job and keeps it very professional. You're great girl, just keep doing you but there is no rules that say you can't!

this is gorgeous and inspiring (in the level of organization, this was EXPENSIVE to package everything up and put it in a place)...however my preferred makeup collections are those where there is a good balance of "makeup collector" and "makeup user"...I find this collection to just be a tad over the top because its obvious that the majority of this makeup doesnt get worn...its basically for the purpose of collection. BUT i enjoy watching collections like this because it reminds me that i also have a large collection, and i do not need to spend money on new items...i need to shop my collection and use the things that i have been blessed with...or I need to purge and give things away to others that could benefit from what i have. I watched this and actually spent the morning organizing my makeup and i cannot WAIT to play! I probably only have a 10th of what she has but my collection is still huge and i have everything i could ever want in a makeup collection! So I appreciate you sharing, anyone with an open mind can take something positive away from watching this...mean comments are not necessary.
I've tried to watch this 3x already gives me anxiety very chaotic. You should watch the tarababyz makeup collection everyone commenting about I did not only is here collection huge it is so beautifully organized omg I love it then you can find your makeup and display your makeup beautifully.
I totally agree with you, there was no rhyme or reason for her makeup to be all over the place, Tarababz's collection was on point with logic behind it and easy to search what you're after. With Dulce's collection I kept thinking to myself why is eyeliners in one unit and then mascara's in another, etc. Dulce if you're reading this doll, just try and dedicate an entire section to one particular product.
But tarababyz does other people makeup I love dulce Candy's videos but it wasn't organized tbh just because it has label stickers doesn't really mean is organized

This is my honest opinion... I'm not hating... Part of her issue as many of you guys have stated comes from growing up with nothing. She's mentioned before that her family wasn't stable and she grew up always wanting things. Now, my mom tends to keep things too even if she doesn't need them. Most Hispanics would say it's "a Mexican thing" but it's mostly an issue that a lot of people have when they grow up poor and when they finally get their hands on something, they won't let go of it. I THINK dulce may have that issue. I follow so many you tubers and none of them have that amount of makeup. But again they are different. Although I don't agree with her having all that makeup, she isn't hurting anyone and people keep saying that she should donate it, but make up isn't a necessity so it doesn't really matter. At least her hoarding isn't messy, she's a neat hoarder lol!! Anyway, that's my honest opinion, and people should give her a break. One day she'll realize she doesn't need it all. 🙌

Thank you for sharing your collection! It was fun watching. A little tip for you for your mac lipsticks so you don't have to open all of them to find the colour you want is to store them upside down so you can see the names. That might help to make it easier and save time :)

TheSez12345 i have seen videos where mac lipsticks are upside in lipstick holders. The lipsticks are slanted or at an angle in the holder.

Very nice collection! I just started collecting makeup. I am a 45 year old grandma and I recently began experimenting, and having lots of fun! My entire collection fits in a drawer!

This is overwhelming. Makeup hoarding is a serious problem. Look it up on youtube, lots of videos on it. You should downsize your collection to at least 2 Alex drawers. Make others who aren't as blessed, happy with products you never use that just sit in your drawers past their expiration date. There are organizations and charities to help poor single moms feel good about themselves after they let themselves go, also for less fortunate young girls & teens who struggle with self-esteem & confidence. I'm sure they'd be happy with let alone one lip gloss and actually put it to good use. Share your blessings. Use money wisely like to travel, create life experiences. Us women spend so much money on beauty and tend to be so consumed with our looks it's crazy, men don't even like when we wear a lot of makeup. You're so beautiful it's not necessary. There is a limit cause there is so much more to life than material & superficial things. In the end you can't take this all with you.

just to think if it was culled down to what is just an essential amount (as well as even keeping a few extras aside for experimenting) but to think of the tens of thousands of dollars that could keep children alive who couldn't even afford food. Like would you give up some of your make up if it meant that your own son didnt die from malnutrition- im sure? And I'm not trying bring someone down, im just trying to stay aware of the materialistic side of this size of a collection and not getting caught up in the prettiness of it- and i hope others can realise that too.
Then again is not her responsibility She might be big on TH-cam doesn't mean she's a millionaire. Tell that to someone like Kim Kardashian and her entire family who make money out stupid porno shit most of the time. But definitely Dulce is amazing and it does seem that she appreciates and puts her makeup to good use- especially in light of how we see others like Kim K spend excessively like in millions.

Hi Dulce. I like watching makeup collection videos and I of course watched yours as soon as could. You have a TON of makeup, but it's not that organized. Maybe it's just me, but you have like 5 drawers of lipsticks and they're all over the place. Also, you store stuff face down, like with lip products. That makes it harder to see the color. I just have some feedback and tips for you:
- You could organize by category rather than brand. By sorting everything into categories, you get more use of each product. Also, by sorting stuff by category, you'll use more products instead of just high-end. It literally forces you to use things that you wouldn't normally reach for. For example, have a drawer just dedicated to foundation and nothing else.
- You could also have each Alex drawer unit be a category (example, one could hold face, the other unit hold eye products, etc.).
- Store the products upside down or on their side so you can see the color. If you see it, you're more likely to use it.
- Organize your pigments and put them in containers like from The Container Store rather than in those things from Michael's. It will make using them easier and faster, since you don't have to go and open a container to find the one you're looking for.
- Have a drawer (or 3!) to store samples and then a few more drawers to store unopened products. It will make more room for the other products you have and also keep everything together instead of scattered. For example, you mentioned the mascaras that you haven't opened. If you stored them all in a drawer with other unopened products, you could use up the ones that you have opened, and then easily go into the unopened products drawer and pull out a new mascara to use.
- Last tip is something I learned from Emily Noel. She also has a large collection and a tip she talked about in one of her videos was to get a bin and set it on your makeup table. Then grab 5 or so products from your collection that you don't use that often. Then force yourself to use them for a week, 2 weeks, or however long you decide. When the time is up, just rotate the products out with new ones. This way, you'll be using everything in your collection, and you might even discover new favorite products you wouldn't have otherwise.

You haven't seen anything until you've seen Tarababyz collection and Thefancyfaced's collection. Both of their videos were last made in 2013 I believe, so I can only imagine how much more they would have now in 2015. And both ladies have high-end makeup too, Check them out- you'll fall outta your chair.

For all the haters, makeup is her hobby. If you are a crafter, you probably have hundreds of art materials that you use for one project and won't get used again. Same way with her, she has lots of makeup that she may only use once. But that's her hobby, and most people spend more money on their hobby than a normal person might. You might have a big craft room with lots of expensive shit, but a small makeup collection. She, on the other hand, has a makeup room with different expensive shit than you, but might only have glue and construction paper as her only craft supplies. And besides, it's her life it makes her happy. What gives you the right to control her happiness?So I suggest some of you stfu and EDUCATE YOURSELVES.
I would recommend putting the MAC lipsticks upside down in the acrylic organizers, because then you can see the names, which will help you to pick the perfect shade quickly without spending half an hour opening all of them. It really helps me out, since I also remember the names of the colors ☺️

Good idea! I always wondered how the Mac lipsticks would stay organized. :) and maybe adding a swatch in the drawer with the colors so the names are identified with a shade.

I absolutely love makeup and have a good bit myself, but honestly this is hoarding. And saying its because its her job doesn't justify it to this extent, Temptalia (HUGE beauty blogger) gives most of the products she is sent away to places like women's shelters if she knows she wont use them. It just seems that she is in a bit of denial about it like
"Oh I have these for when I do makeup for friend and fam"
" I thought this would be cool for this and I experiment a lot during Halloween"
like you don't need all these pale pale or darkest of dark face makeup in 10 different brands, most high profile mua don't even. Its just astounding how much is going to waste (and experimenting with an eyeshadow 2 times in 4 years is yes wasteful) and with so much of each. The mind set of I might need it for this later or yeah I use it all, is all things hoarders think and say (this literally felt like I was watching that show). It kinda made me cringe no matter how you try to cut it this is wayyy excessive, I get its a collection but that's how most hoarding starts off.
I think she has an addiction problem, and I don't mean that maliciously. Think about how much money is wasted on all these products which are excessive. I get if she practices on her own, but there is no way she uses every single product here. She could have used that money for her education, or for a house payment, perhaps even a car. That just sad to be honest. =/

Pretty sure she didn't pay for the majority of these but rather, they were sent to her to try. There's no way she'd pay for all of these because apart from the cost, makeup has a shelf life so the majority of these would go to waste.

For being an "organized" makeup collection, this is one of the most unorganized makeup collections I've seen :P Your moisturizer drawer has foundations, highlights in a drawer that has nothing to do with your actual highlighter drawer, glosses/lipsticks in 3 separate drawers... etc. I don't know how you keep track of it with it all over the place! :p

So when do you actually go through and clean out expired products? I'd imagine you have to do that at some point. I know makeup can last a long time in some forms, but others not so much.
