My first ever jolly to the Super Sausage on the Lexmoto Tempest is something to look forward to. Meeting TH-cam glitterati will be the icing on the cake.
Here we have a couple of 40mph dual carriageways which in places have parked cars. These dissect the area and have to be used even if you are just crossing them. 30mph would never do. I am no speed demon. Even I find 125cc to restrictive. 50cc? No way. And we have hills here too. Not the Himalayas but there are places where you can find yourself having a good 'climb'. EDIT: My driving improved when I went from a Fiesta to SWB SIII Land Rover with a crash box. My worse period driving was when I was using an M-class automatic. I was driving once or a twice week. And the M-class was just too easy to drive.
Morning Rev perhaps the court here to many stories about young ones riding like hooligans on paths putting people in danger and made an example of that you lad. But on the other hand I totally agree with you on the speed limit should be more. 👍🏍️
If you're in the UK, check the government website to find out what test you need to pass according to your age. If you're old enough for a 125cc, it's generally a CBT first. Google CBT and your area and you'll get a list of instructors. If you've never ridden before, I recommend a 2 day course. Costs more but you're much more likely to pass and you'll be more confident.
I learned to ride a manual Motorcycle on a field on an old MOT failure bike I bought for £70. Best bet is do a CBT, don't worry it's pretty easy to get used to clutch and gears, you'll wonder how you ever did without them!!😊
