Thanks!
Appreciate all the coverage, Brian
Thx for listening!
Thanks for this. OTAs, Mini Camp, & Training Camp are very important. Can't wait to hear what you think about how our linebacker core looks.
The discussion you dropped at the end is why I generally turned to indi or street reporting the last 20 years or such. Got sick of ESPN kids ..
Not to be a downer
But man, it feels like we could be setting ourselves up for disappointment with Laken Tomlinson. He's a vet so of course he's going to be impressive in May and June, but it's possible he's just done as a starter in this league. Even mediocre guards get good deals in FA but he had very little interest and signed late with Seattle for cheap. Yet here he is getting all kinds of buzz, running with the ones every day, even being named Captain. That could blow up in our faces.
Maybe you're right. Like us the Jets had horrible oline problems but they also had zac wilson who has all the bad scrambling traits of #3 and none of the good plays. I don't think tomlinson will be amazing but I think he might, might be a low key good get in a functioning offense.
BTW I'm actually more concerned about how olu plays, who the RG is, and if Lucas even can be near full strength at some point this year.
I think that’s a totally reasonable perspective
