I found my. Meteorite on the way back home from Arizona to Cali. I had to use the bathroom so we pulled over in the Mohave desert and there it was along with another beautiful gem. I really had no idea I had found a meteorite until a few weeks ago. I just thought I should check my collection and there was. I will have it classified but I'm in no hurry! I want my youngest grandson to be able to take it to school for show and tell. I also found the most beautiful black opal while doing my yard work. Wow you talk about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. I'm giving that to my oldest daughter. God bless you on your awesome podcasts 🙏
My meteorite is big. It's big enough to cover the palm of my hand. My boyfriend was a teacher and he told me mine is just part of a much bigger one that broken up . It's so cool to be able to have one. God bless you 🙏
This is awesome! I’ve watched this video at least a dozen times trying to figure out which lake bed that is. I’d love to take my daughter and son out there to try and find some
Just about any dry lake bed has a chance to have meteorites on it,the harder the dry lake bed the better odds of finding one. Just gotta get out there and hunt that’s what it’s all about. Thanks for watching
Awesome finds Mike! Good luck with your future hunts! I'm staying in Southern Arizona right now. I need to detour from gold prospecting to hunting meteorites some time. Thanks for sharing. I subd!
Yeah definitely start looking for meteorites when you’re looking for gold that hot rock might be worth a lot more than gold. Thanks for the sub and thanks for watching.
@@huntingeverythingwithmikem3458 Definitely always looking for a meteorite, while detecting. And yes they can be worth more than gold. I heard if a piece of a meteorite is found within a few days after it fallsto earth, it's worth alot more. Do you think that's true?
@@jamesmudd2227 Yes that is most definitely true. I found a little one a week after it fell in West Texas and I was offered $1000 for it I turned it down because I only found one.
@@huntingeverythingwithmikem3458 Nice!! If you ever decide to come out to AZ again, maybe we can do some detecting together? If you want. Just let me know, and I'll send you my email!.Good luck on your future hunts Mike!!
Nice video and thanks for the tips on hunting meteors. Hope to hunt for some on the dry lake beds. Not many dry lake beds here in Kansas though lol Do you just collect them or sell? Looks like something good for a retired person to do. :-)
Some NWA carbonaceous chondrites can go for like 40.00 a gram . The ones I found, I haven’t seen listed in a while I hear anywhere from 50.00 to 100.00g. Thanks for watching
