    if the asteroid was to pass behind the sun it would not be out of view for 7 months. if we can track it visually. If it is too dim to be spotted we would depend on the knowledge of the orbit learned when it was in view.

    ive been telling everyone for yrs that this asteroid will hit us soon and were still not prepared for it i sent NASA an idea to create a bunch of space magnets that could attach to asteroid's and push them back out to space these magnets would be the size of a aircraft carrier and would have about 6 thrusters if we can make them we can save earth for decades to come from any danger types like this

    • @Ron19870
      @Ron19870 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@unnamedchannel1237 Magnets will be the easier route because they can attach to the asteroids or comets. They are made of iron, and magnets can attach to iron and steel. Six thrusters would have enough power to push them back out to space. These magnets would be completely unmanned and controlled from the NASA HQ by Air Force pilots. They would be the size of aircraft carriers, meaning 1 mile long and half a mile thick. These other ways will not help. They smashed a space probe into one, and it moved barely an inch. A magnet will start those thrusters, grab the space debris, and push it away.but if you have a better idea why don't you do like i did contact nasa see where it gets you

And hey if it fails we got another shot in 2036, its best to have 2 shots at it working than just waiting to have 1 last shot only right

      Because building a laser that strong would likely be impossible and if possible would require unbelievable amounts of power, time and funding. You gotta remember the farther a laser has to travel the more power it loses. To build a laser that can literally vaporize a giant ass rock the size of multiple football fields from miles away is purely fiction

    Thanks for the information. Planet Hercolubus is approaching Earth, it is 5 or 6 times larger than Jupiter, it is a giant that will cause: earthquakes, floods, cyclones, ... and there is nothing that can divert it. To save ourselves from the cataclysms that will come, there is only one way: the elimination of our psychological defects. The key is in the book "Hercolubus or Red Planet" by V.M. Rabolú. It can be read in PDF in several languages.

    • @sunshynff
      @sunshynff 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@deansparks8085 ........Huh?? You do realize that the earth is struck quite often right?? The last major one was the Chelyabinsk meteorite that struck near Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, in 2013, it was 30m(98ft) in diameter, it had a yield of 400-500 kilotons of TNT, 30 times as much energy as that released from the atomic bomb detonated at Hiroshima. It broke windows and caused 1500 people to have minor injuries in the nearest town 26 miles away. The Tunguska event was a large explosion of between 3 and 50 megatons that occurred near what is now Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, in 1908. Luckily it was sparsely populated Eastern Siberia and it flattened an estimated 80 million trees over an area of 2,150 km2 (830 sq mi) of forest, it was a stony asteroid about 50-60m (160-200 ft) in diameter.
      The one that will pass near us in a couple years, Apophis, is an estimated 335m(1100ft) in diameter, while much lager, it would most likely only destroy a small country, or a couple large cities, not the planet, and it only has a 2.7% chance of striking Earth. To put that in comparison, the meteorite that wiped out the dinosaurs 65million years ago, was ten kilometers (six miles) in diameter!! The crater is estimated to be 200 kilometers (120 miles) in diameter and 20 kilometers (12 miles) in depth. Basically until an asteroid measured in kilometers/miles is expected to hit us, we don't have to worry about an extinction level event...lol.
