AJ did show a lot of heart. He was going for it - he could've sat in for a bit and gathered himself up and tried to wear Dubois down but he's decided to go for it and he was landing but he's got tagged. His legs weren't there - he's not put enough into his legs. He's not done the incline training - that's what it looks like to me. Daniel's left no stone unturned in his preparation - cardio, legs, neck arms - the lot. His performance in the ring just showed how well he prepared.
If AJ looses a rematch fight it will justify the calls for him to resign after this defeat, crush his name to five defeats of which two were rematches he lost and he will then be condemned to retire rather than making a sensible choice now to to retire.

AJ got it right in that he ducked Parker and Zhang, believing that he had the youngster Dubois' number. AJ ran the same playbook when he took on a very young Parker with a hand selected ref who helped keep Parker at range. He didn't get the rub here, but the strategy was a familiar one.
