We LOVE ours. He's almost 9 months. Yes they are VERY smart, and get into things. Takes right training, and patience. But we love him.
People mistakenly say that German shepherds are bad breeds because they're hard to train or they're aggressive.
Yes, they CAN be hard to train and they CAN be aggressive, but that's IF you don't seek the time and help you (as the owner) need to rectify and help train them.
It's not easy and it's a gradual process, but the payoff is well worth the effort. If you love and respect them, they they will do the same in return. Just be calm when you need to be stern with them. Being angry/excited around them just fuels their own excitement.

Your German Shepherd puppy is so precious and loveable. When I had a GS puppy, she would just sit, because she was too tired of walking. Everybody would look at her floppy ears and big paws. I picked her up, gave her a big hug, then went home.

My pup is a little over 8 weeks. His ears are floppy and he bites a lot. All the joys of having such a fabulous dog.

They're EXACTLY like how you take care of a baby. They NEED lots of attention and care when they're under a year old. It when they're more than a few months old is the best time to start training them to avoid getting them in certain habits.
It's not easy, but the payoff is SO worth it.
They seriously do have their own personalities but train them well and get them well socialized. The hard work and dedication will be matched 🤞

They lay there like they are dead, and when you least expect it they go for you those bastards. I will come to Australia and kill every one of them so all dogs can be safe. Bye now.

Did you have any problems with your puppy adjusting to your cat or any other dogs? We're having a hard time with our other dogs adjusting to the puppy.

Got mine 2 months old and double lbs and size by end of 4th month so we at almost end of 6 months close to 50lbs and 2 1/2 bigger
We have a 9week GSD/Staff . When did he start sleeping though the night? Ours is up every 3-4hrs
It really depends on the dog. Max was sleeping through the nights by week 11 I think, with the exception of pee breaks.
