I think I spinning elbow Jon jones style or an oblique kick would be interesting. Jon jones used the spinning elbow so fluidly and he could do it from the clinch so that would be interesting to learn how he does it
I've been practicing this move since you first mentioned it in one of your older vids. I used it multiple times in sparring and was able catch way more experienced fighters with it. (I'm just a hobbyist btw) Started adding the low roundhouse after the Lead Superman, or even use the Lead Superman to set up a low or mid roundhouse. Also have come to really like to combine the Lead Superman with Wonderboy's Step-in Cross. It's worked very well for me and I think will become a permanent part of my arsenal. Thanks for all these vids Gabe. I've definitely become much better since I started watching your channel. To note: I am one of those shorter, stockier guys. This move absolutely helps in closing the distance against taller opponents. I stand 5'8" but fighting at 200lbs so many of my sparring partners are almost 6' on average 😅
This is by far the best run down of the Superman Jab I've ever seen. Appreciate it. It's gonna take some practice before adding it to my tool box but I just wanted to thanks.
more difficult than it appears, it lands cause they don't expect, they don't expect cause they don't train, they don't train cause it's difficult, it's a champ move
Using the 2 instead of the 1 works better for me for some reason, people do not expect it after you already threw your jab and leg kicks to set them up and you can grab a good angle off of it.
@@iam-retarded-but yh I think I've seen that one. I could just use all the help I can get cus I've been trying for a few weeks but I just can't do it. Like how they use the momentum from the foot to go into a round kick, I can't do that. I'm sure it comes down to strengthening my lower body and pelvis area, along with flexibility, which are things I'm working on but just haven't been seeing too much progress
@@gaminikokawalage7124 i don't think that it's complicated if it's a strong shift it will come out naturally.... but I'm not an expert at it because i have some hip problems so i don't throw alot of kicks
GSP never misses that punch, it’s awesome

Jon jones actually did a video explaining it and his favourite way to set it up
Because he uses the right cross to sneak it
@@chrisregalado8249don’t forget his reach 84 and half is just ridiculous. A elbows for him is like a normal person jab. 🤣

I go to muay thai twice a week. It's nice that 99% of what my coach says Gabriel reiterates in his videos.

Great point. Just because it does not work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.
Any unorthodox front hand/leg stuff is interesting. Ways to implement the lead uppercut for example
