    I just ordered this version, but in black, and with the stonewashed titanium blade holder. I figured the titanium middle blade holder with a Dewalt carbide blade will make the scale cutouts stand out even more and look super cool! I love these little utility cutters, and they do nearly everything I need a sharp blade for. At $140(ish) they're an expensive utility knife, but a lot cheaper than a mid to high end folding pocket knife. Always incredibly sharp and so compact to carry, and I add the 12-ball ceramic Skiff bearings and grease the pivot, so incredibly smooth and long lasting too. My other knives are a Spyderco Native 5 sprint run in special CF and s110v, and a Custom knife factory Evo 2 in shred CF/dark titanium/and M390. So these were both way more than the Tirant, which is just a pleasure to carry and use, and I never have to sharpen.

    Nice review. Would've been even better if you did a weight comparison between the two.

      I agree 100%. Can't believe i left that out lol. I will weigh them and put the info here for you in a little bit.

      Here are the weights for you @kardtable, as recorded on my American Weigh AWS-100 scale. Standard plain Ti gen 1 TiRant Razor: 81.08 grams... New TiRant Razor V3 Skeleton Edition: 66.25 grams. Both knives had the same Tajima VRB2 V-REX™ II blade installed at the time of the weigh in. I will put this information in the description for other people to check out if they are interested, thank you for tuning in!

    I always enjoy your videos no matter what they’re about but I just wish you’d post more often😂

      Why thank you, that means a lot 🏆 I'm trying to get up to at least one video per week. As it turns out it's actually way harder to do than I imagined, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of the process 🎯

    Do the holes give you more grip over the plain version? And is the plain version slippery when wet?

    • @EDChero
      @EDChero  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Solid username @crispysocksss 🏆🤣 So The plain Ti version could potentially get a little slick but I don't think I've personally moistened myself up yet to have it be an issue. However seeing as how it's a somewhat smooth piece of metal I could see how it might happen. That being said, the milled handles on this skeleton do provide a boatload more grip!

    What about the price . One the most important considerations.

    • @EDChero
      @EDChero  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Base price is $135 and mine shown here with the extra screw kit and flush backspacer (no lanyard loop) was $155 shipped. Thank you for tuning in @johnmitchell3206 I will make sure to mention the price next time, I typically do but unfortunately some important details were overlooked in this video and I apologize for not being more detailed.

    85 dollars for a box cutter is insane

      Lol I carry a Rexford R.U.T for work it's a $200 box cutter.

      @EDChero  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @pattrass7692 I get what OccupiedMuffins is saying but these are more than just box cutters, there's definitely more nuance to it than just the raw functionality and the absurd prices (the price can definitely be insane unless it's your thing, then cost is almost no object).

      Hello John, I failed to mention it but it’s at the end where I play the specs for the last 10 seconds. $155 as configured 🥳
