Can relate to his research aspirations. I too joined MS program in Electrical Dept. (Signal Processing and Communication Domain) at IIT-M despite having a rank of 153 , back in 2019. Coincidently my research area is also Reinforcement Learning.
This is great thing having AIR 83 and taken admission in IIT Madras for MS Research . Good ! wish all the best ....

Bro I am working guy in MNC ,I have much much interest in higher studies ,do you get stipend in MS program?
Yes, at least ₹12,400, and if your guide wants you to work on any project with him, then you might get in between ₹15,000 - 30,000 based on how much funding the project has given to your guide.

Choose MTech over MS. MS Curriculum is not structured. Professor just exploits you for their promotion. Please choose Mtech over MS. Especially dont choose IIT Madras MS programme. Choose other institute MTech over IIT Madras MS. IT is not well structured. People are doing MS for 5 years without stifend. Go for MTech over MS.
