That entire intro and tune was a battle cry as a young child. It meant "go time" and that you had to prepare yourself for an intense battle to save the world and undo the evils of Dr. Wily. That intro got you prepared to tackle anything that was thrown at you. Gave me chills. Such great memories.
Megaman never look so bad ass as 1:36. That intro blew me away when I watch it for the first time and then when he grins at 1:50, is like he´s thinking "Whoever it is, bring it on!".
Mega man were the only games on nes that I couldn’t wait to watch the intro before playing and the only games I did not immediately press start after turning on cause They were epic intros, the music alone as well.it was just such an awesome game that you wanted to take the time and watch the intro to tease yourself into waiting for the awesomeness that lies ahead in gameplay. Especially when you can’t wait to reach the castle fortresses
Since he's a robot, not a human, the unclear wording in the train station's rules classify him as _cargo._ _Have you seen_ how they pack the cargo cars on trains in 200X? Way more comfortable to ride on top!

Heh, if you like it I recommend checking out Mega Man 2 vs. 4 by the retro job, he brings up really good points. Also the weapons are waaay more balanced than 2's, the charge buster was not OP in this one (it was in 5 tho) and there were plenty of reasons to use boss power ups.

Bringing Dr. Wily back was the biggest mistake Capcom made. He should've stayed dead after Mega Man 3 and Dr. Cossack be the main villain of this game.
I guess it took them this long to lock down the canon. Heck, the first Mega Man localization introduced Monsteropolis that was never mentioned again anywhere.

Same here. I actually recall terribly drawing that scene a lot as a kid because I thought it was so awesome.

I think this is one of the things that makes Mega Man 4 my favorite of the NES games.
