This was quite literally the only one with more then a single fact (if even so) .. that I didn't know.
1:28 this fact was actually the end of my Hardcore world. i was doing well so I was wondering the world to gather some rotten flesh that I could sell to a cleric villager for emeralds. Unfortunately, when I spotted two lone zombies, I didnt anticipate this secret feature. What started as 2 harmless, slow mobds ended up being around 20 Zombies, half of which were decked out in partially enchanted gold, iron or chain armor. Even a baby zombie.
Long story short I ended up cornered against a wall, and mauled to death by zombies.

@Pizza with no bones Main advantage I can see is that villagers and water will be better, but that's a 1.14 and 1.13 thing respectively. However, a lot of glitches don't work in 1.16 and it's less stable on server, so that's the reason.

The wither can also destroy obsidian if it's hitbox is pushed into the blocks (at least in 1.12, I'm not sure if it's still a thing later on.) This is how highway groups get rid of griefs and blockages quickly
@@5ONAL1TY You have to punch it for that to happen but yeah. The blue skulls are usually used for removing spawn bases and other obsidian builds, where the large open nature of them makes it very hard to use the hitbox method.
Number 3 is an interesting one, because every now and then I found zombies in the Nether - even though they shouldn't spawn there. Zombie reinforcements is a fun mechanic.
Maybe the hinges on the other side is there so it can interact with other doors, it could be so you can lock double doors protecting you in hard mode from zombies.
Mojang: No you can't ride dolphins, that's animal abuse.

You dont kill turtles for it though. You get scutes by baby turtles hatching from an egg.

Here's why you can "Curse" a Jack-o-Lantern: On Halloween, mobs can wear Jack-o-lanterns, and, because things like Player heads, pumkins, and of course, Jack-o-lanterns can't be enchanted with Protection, the jack-o-lantern works like a sort of dragon head but just for mobs.
Yeah! But zombies (n other mobs) cant wear them naturally. So if you drop a jack o lantern, zombie wont pick it up! So in the halloween you have a 1%chanse of getting that one mob, in that one day. Thats why people trap them.

13:49 - you don't have to summon a harmless pillager with commands. You can get him in survival just by letting him break the crossbow. It takes around 10 minutes of constant shooting and reloading
i have 10 neutral pillagers on my hardcore world and it took them 250 crossbow shots each on average to break their crossbows

Fun fact about number 13: the ghast sound effect is actually used in Cake Wars on Mineplex, bedrock edition, every time a point on the map is captured. I always thought it was some weird bird call or something, but I guess now I know it’s not
Great video! This type of video usually has the same old facts over and over, but there was some really cool stuff! I did happen to know 7 of these facts so this was a great video in my opinion!
The wither being able to destroy obsidian was to make it less easy to just spawn them inside obsidian to kill them. Advanced technical players uses this mechanic together with the end obsidian platform to make a fully afkable obsidian farms.
I guess wither can break bedrock because one time me and my cousen was trying to kill wither, then i decided to spawn 3 withers and fight with all of them, after 25-30 min. the fight ended but here was some little holes? I placed bedrocks with commands so it could be a lag or something but ye as i said there was holes, me and 3 withers?

Its way easier to make a obisidian farm it does cost pickaxe durabilty but still u can just make a dispenser that shoots an item into the end portal (if u didnt know every time an entity enters the end the spawning platform resets) and once it comes out it could just be picked up by a hopper get shot up a water elevator into the exit portal again and make it slowly go back to the entrance portal while another item gets shot in again

Prismerin also has a moving and changing texture it just takes a lot longer and is harder to notice. You can go from a mostly blue prismerin build to green to purple and then black to blue. It's quite fun to just watch but if your not paying attention it's hard to notice. good job with the rest of them though.
Number one is a Gravity Falls Easter egg. There is an official Gravity Falls book called "Dipper and Mabel and the Curse of the Time Pirates' Treasure!" In which dipper and Mabel meet an all knowing axolotl who they ask about Bill Cypher. The words "the axolotls are not what they seem" are subtle reference to both that book, and another very similar cooked message at the end of the Gravity Falls theme song which says "Stan is not what he seems". 😉

Plus, axolotls are highly referenced in Gravity Falls!

The Jack o' lantern one is probably because in Halloween, there's a chance that undead mobs use a jack o lantern, maybe there's a chance that the Jack o' lantern is enchanted, so Devs made it somehow enchantable.

Did you know that before the village and pillage update was made, if you turned on experimental features, the ravager’s code name of you were to spawn it, it was Illager_beast.

the harmless pillager is also possible in survival, apparently hes the only mob whos weapon has durability, if you distract one of them for enough time the crossbow breaks and he suddenly stop attacking the other mobs

The peaceful pillager can also be found if you get a pillager to shoot a block so many times it’s crossbow breaks.

That fish bucket one feels like something a developer made up flippantly in response to the bucket shape being off. I’m also certain it’s at least made up after the fact and in truth they didn’t have enough pixels so they squished the bucket shape to emphasise the fish more

Pillagers also become neutral/pacified once their weapon runs out of all durability - which they actually use, unlike undead mobs such as Skeletons. I remember hearing about someone who made a ‘pillage’ out of pacified Illagers.

Theory: Wardens are drowned axolotls, explains the similarities between their ears/horns. Also explains why Mojang keeps talking about both of them. ALSO ALSO explains why the wardens are a greenish-bluish ocean color.
Turtle armor should make you swim faster and breathe water better and make you move slower on land. When you crouch your defense increases, but then of course you would be moving VERY slow if at all

Theory:
"Axolotls are not what they seem" is a reference to the advancement "The cutest predator", which probably wants to say that axolotls, even if they are cute, they are brave.
That's my theory.

The door hinge on the side is probably for when you put 2 doors together so they "latch"
ik im late but i have a door like this. its actually to mimic the latches that then go into the walls so then u cant open it from pushing, u have to push the handle down to push latches back inside the door so it can open.
@@Lexiositythat system sounds like one for a door that opens both ways. Because a door that doesn't open when you push on it is just a door that only opens one way. But Minecraft doors also open one way so I don't think that would make sense. It makes sense if there are two doors.

13:53 You can actually do this in Survival. You just need to use a lot of shields to make pillager break their crossbow (this will take a lot of shots). This us weird, because no other mob can break their weapon like this

Shields will work, but better to use Slabs or Snow Layers. Just have enough space for them to have line of site to the Player, but high enough to block the Arrows.

Another way is to make it so they can’t shoot you by slowing their arrows with water until their bow breaks
For turtle armor, I would imagine that since the Turtle helmet has durability in between that of iron and diamond with Water Breathing, the other armor pieces would function similarly.

We can also take into consideration the Potion of the Turtle Master, which the Turtle Shell Helmet, officially known as the Turtle Shell, is used to brew. This potions reduces speed but increases defence.
The existence of "affectionate screaming" of ghasts implies that some Dev probably considered ghasts to be tameable or breedable which is really blursed in all senses

Jack O'Lanterns can be enchanted because during Halloween some mobs (for ex: zombies) are able to spawn with them, so it is coded similar to carved pumpkins which is wearable by the player

@@EaterOfGeese Acacia can actually be used for some really unique builds. Almost any block can be used for gradients (except for the animated ones like prismarine), and acacia works really well with copper and generally orange blocks. It’s definitely an outlier out of all the wood types, and it was added later in the games history so not many people have gotten used to it similar to oak, birch, and spruce.

The jack-o-lantern one is probably just a leftover peice of code from the regular pumpkin, since you can put that on your head and put curse of binding on it so you cant take it off

With the door, it's the locking mechanism, because there is no latch in the wall next to it, and also no frame. I don't know how it works, but that's what I think
Jack-o-lantern's can actually be worn as helmets so they are not "non-wearable"; this is why they can be cursed. Imagine picking up a JOL of binging and accidentally equipping it, now your stuck wearing a useless block in your helmet slot till you die. If in hardcore mode you have now permanently lost your helmet item slot. It exists entirely to troll newbs. The small bit of good news is Endermen wont attack you with it on.

My theory is that the axolotls became corrupted by the sculk and souls and become the warden. Also a couple of things that supports the theory is that axolotls have the antennae the warden has and have the same head shape they also have really bad eyesight and spawn in caves. They could have also been experiments of the so called "ancient builders" like the wither. Even kingbdogz has said that the ancient cities are built by the ancient builders. (BTW thanks for all the likes)

The doors don’t have hinges on both sides. The side with the handle is modeled after a 3 point door locking mechanism. Also, possibly a mortise lock?
I’m pretty sure it’s just because of the way the textures are made. The model is set to just reuse the same 3-pixel wide segment of the door texture. To avoid difficulty when modeling the door, the front side uses the entire texture which wouldn’t be the case if a new segment was added. In brief, notch was lazy
it was a mistake they made when doors were first added and they just haven't changed it back yet. I remember it all the way back in 2011

I always subconsciously refer to shulkers as Shell Lurkers, when thinking of them I rarely call them shulkers and I have to put a substantial amount of conscious thought into typing to make sure I don't do that when talking to someone to avoid confusion.

I also know, that the pillager's crossbow is breakable. By making him a trap, you can making him shoot so much arrows that he brokes the crossbow. It may take a while (18mins exactly), but it works!
and you'll get a completely calm innocent pillager.
(If he looks sad, he is sad because of the crossbow, but do not worry, he'll be fine.)

The axolotls are not what they seem is a very neat easter egg/reference to the disney XD show Gravity falls, in which a backwards message is said moments before the shows antagonist dies that invokes the power of an axolotl god.
