The key description in what you are getting to is the plate with the two screws. AVOID everything else (you will be looking in the wrong place). When re-applying the little tab for power, make sure the little contacts are aligned. This little tab doesn't just sit on top when you put the little tab plate back on. Really worked a treat, especially since my wife really didn't want to replace it. Thanks Again!

How many times did you have to do that before it completely stopped turning on or charge , on TH-cam how you can tell if it's your battery or you tab you use the same method but while disconnect you put a charger in if it turns on without battery connected it means you can release static if it don't your mother board is fried . I had a new Lenovo laptop any I had to use these methods weekly and for a month it didn't charge or release anything .

Betrayed?...I have had a few Lenovo products and haven't had any issues. I really liked the laptop I had but it was older and built like a tank. Nowadays, it's the luck of the draw.

I bought lenovo tab p10 last year, and within 7-8 months i had issues with the charging port, I littrealy have to struggle to get the tablet to charge. Even after sending it for repairs, the same problem aroused within a couple of weeks. I dropped the tablet from bed level by mistake once and it ripped apart the edge metal of tablet, which again took time to fix. There is issue with the ram (4gb model). The application i am running works fine but when i switch to another app and then again switch back, it imidiately crashes and restarts, until i restart, and after few hours of usage, same problem begins again. Battery does not last as long as they advertised. The charger they provided does not charge properly and overheats all the time. There have still been many issue with the tablet that i am not mentioning here. They have released a new tablet recently, the p11 and it is even less priced than the p10, having much more features, which just make me more frustated. I regret for not purchasing an ipad priced for the same. The features they advertise are mostly false. I also bought a laptop from their company and it hardly lasted for 1.5 years until completely becoming garbage. I used everything just like an average user. My experience with lenovo has really been bad
The important thing to remember is that in order to achieve this you must have a general understanding of the layout of your tablet's internals. Also, this will not work on all models as it did on mine. If you are unsure PLEASE find yourself a technician to troubleshoot your issue.

just a note...try turning off the vibrate feature when it turns on. I hear this is related to the bootup problem.
