I am considering the crash bar, seems that it protects quite well in case of a fall, and the best so far : footpegs, already used on my previous bike. To be honest, the SkidPlate looks really ugly , too bulky and overdimensioned in comparison with the bike. also we have to see its compatibility with other OEM parts!

Personally, I think the skid plate looks a bit OTT considering most people will only do road riding. I would defo be interested in a smaller, more subtle one. The OEM one looks good but way too expensive. Adjustable footpegs are a must for me, 25-50mm lower like the MFW Vario ones. I too prefer your upper crash bar to the Honda one, more subtle & great place for extra lights If you would like more comments please let me know. Have ridden the Transalp and it is wonderful, just trying to decide whether I should upgrade.

I am the owner of the new Honda Transalp, I would like to install a protection for the engine underneath, but I think it is too bulky and I would suggest that since I don't think most owners will use it for off-road, create a protection that is smaller and more compact for street use I think it would sell more.
I have installed the SW-Motech skid plate and i am very happy with it - matches perfectly with the black color of the bike. I have ordered the center stand but can't order the crash bars - they appear out of stock with my local dealer :(

Hello Alexiyo, if the two products dont share any mounting points this should be possible. We test our prodcuts only on motorcycles in factory conditions so without any additional accessories. This is why I cant guarantee you that it will work out. /MM

In this video, the KOBRA handguard with 2-point mounting is installed on the Transalp, but it seems that only 1-point mounting handguard is listed for Transalp on the website. Is there a 2-point mounting handguard for Transalp? or are there any 2-point mounting handguards for other models that can be installed on Transalp?

How about some aux light brackets like the ones you made for the DL650 Mk2, the single units, they were really useful. Or a light bracket that doubles as a GPS bar? I like the aux lights to be near the main headlight, more effective IMHO 🤓

@@SW-MOTECH well. Im thinking if there is no backride, maybe the bag behind can be slide or lift but still attached with a lever and can be locked on the passenger seat. And then can be put again to normal position if there is a backride. Maybe some mechanism for that so there will be lesser hanging load behind. For the side bags maybe an installable nose for more aero maybe also on the back. . Thats all, sorry about my english not really good

@@dustinanderson4809 Transalp has never been an offroad bike, more a touring bike that can do gravel roads. I would think the lack of tubeless tires, cruise control and adjustable suspension is more of an issue for long distance touring.
@Fredrik Hansson again... I agree. But it's an adventure bike thats going to struggle with adventureing, and 1 that is most often compared to the T7 and 800DE. While I don't think anyone is expecting T7 performance, I do think they were hoping for and it's being billed as being more than what it's ultimately going to be capable of. I think the spec sheet is intentionally deceptive, using a stripped down base model to lower the listed weight and increase ground clearance figures. People were hoping for a baby Africa Twin, or at least something in between that and the 500x. And I think it's going to under perform. People don't really buy Adventure bikes just for gravel roads. Even if they never leave pavement with it. They expect it to be able to handle some light to medium offloading. With the TA's increased weight, and low ground clearance it's probably going to be less capable than the 500x. That essentially puts it in the same category as a Versys.

Bigger mistake' you don't change these mirrors!! OEM parts Honda have for Transalp 750 are far away bwter from these parts you provide... your sight protective bars are mounting to motor !!! this is very bad in any crash!! I have friend who have them, also your central stand is out of balance at all comparing with the OEM ....

That bash plate looks like it sits pretty low. I think the TA is going to have ground clearance issues.
For the intended use of tarmac/gravel roads it's enough. It's not an offroad bike like KTM 790 Adventure, Aprilia Tuareg 660 or Yamaha Tenere 700.

Many of the OEM accessories will be manufactured by Honda and are a reasonable price, centre stand £175, Heated grips £185 for example
