Caitlin continuing to promote the league and I don’t feel like they deserve it. She’s something else. Also Christie calling a TO right at the beginning isn’t the issue. Aces started bad last game and Becky called a TO and they got back in it and won so. Not the issue imo
The lynx game revealed that Caitlin is the only reason the fever have gotten this far. However, other teams have caught up and devising better strategies on keeping the ball out of her hands as much as possible and capitalizing on their turnovers therefore shutting down the whole. Christie sides is a whole other problem for the fever but I don’t want to type much more. The over-dependence on Caitlin will be the downfall of the team. They always look lost going from a 90% to a 10% whenever Caitlin is not playing. There is no hope until they become more self sufficient and for heaven sake make their layups
I am way more pissed, watched over and made it way worse. I knew at first look it was bad. Look at 4th at 1:20 on clock, WTF. Pulling up on Aja Wilson to shoot a three after you see that AB asking for ball with open lane to basket from free throw line and had Young pinned behind her and no one in position to help on defense. If it was anyone else maybe I wouldn’t be as upset, but I know CC has vision to see and was looking at her. I am a bball purist, I’m not just pissed but beyond disappointed. Way worse before I edited, had to censor myself because this isn’t the format to express how I really feel.
I think part of the choice to shoot was that AB had inside positioning and maybe she thought she could have gotten the rebound if she missed. But she didn’t get the rebound. But she makes some interesting shot choices in the 4th lately.
@@mag07226 There was 15 seconds left on shot clock so if that pass to AB didn’t look right, definitely could have play make better option. I can appreciate the grace you are extending but honestly most long threes rebound away from basket, she’s a shooter so she knows that. You’re right, not the first time, Atlanta almost got them but they missed the game winner, so overtime. I know how talented this young lady is and I totally respect her game, but definitely have lost confidence in her ability to finish in big games. I kind of thought she would take the Atlanta game to heart but clearly I would think that if she wanted to beat any team, it would be Vegas. I get that she thinks every shot is going down but even if it did, they are up 1 instead of tied with about 70 seconds left. So I don’t get it, clearly I do care too much, that’s my problem.
