Arstotzka Empire How did your save get corrupted? For me, one time, I deleted the application for storage reason, but when I redownload it again, my save file was corrupted. I fixed it by starting a new game and then return to that corrupted save file and it worked again!

Have played through the game over half a dozen times, tbh it gets even better after the first play through. And the two hunters to the right of the Cathedral are really not that bad.. did you play past there or was that where you called it quits?

I think Bloodborne will remain my favorite Souls game, I’m already a big fan of Lovecraftian Horror, and it’s the only game where the combat felt extremely satisfying and visceral. That is, until Sekiro came out. That’s also a favorite of mine.

@@capollyon Yeah, I guess it makes sense for them to return to established basics in many areas, like mechanics and enemy types, so they could pour a lot more time into fleshing out the world map and making it really pretty and fun to explore. I know it's three years later, but I just started playing this game, and it has been ridiculously fun and addictive. Not many games can be hard enough to make me retry a boss fight for 5 hours and still keep my chomping at the bit to play more.
Unless there's some other reason Dunkey turned off the music volume for Gascoigne's fight, he probably planned the low battery bit ahead of time and just stopped moving when he was at low health, adding the dual shock alert in post. He knew he needed the volume to cut off for comedic effect in the first place. Only makes me appreciate Dunkey's content and unique sense of humor even more. Also probably my favorite Dunkey video so far, fucking genius. Shout out to Paulie on sound and production, keep up the good work.
Dimitri Couwenberg There are a lot of times Dunkey plays without music that you can notice throughout this video, where he adds in his own but still has the game sound effects. In fact, he probably edited IN the music for the rest of the fight scene. If you're thinking he's messing up on purpose for a gag, and having to visually edit in PS4 notifications, I think you're reading in too much.
This is very possible and probably exactly what he did but let me just say this exact thing happened to me during a different boss fight. I took a break after that one.

I think Bloodborne will remain my favorite Souls game, I’m already a big fan of Lovecraftian Horror, and it’s the only game where the combat felt extremely satisfying and visceral. That is, until Sekiro came out. That’s also a favorite of mine.
How are you feeling about those now? How does Elden Ring stack up? Just curious

@@Nat_the_Chicken Elden Ring combat, art style and atmosphere very much look and feel like Dark Souls. And to be honest, it is Dark Souls. Even that stupid language is back. I hope next game from FS will be more inovative, as Bloodborne and Sekiro were. But we will have to wait another 4 years for that to become reality.
@@capollyon Yeah, I guess it makes sense for them to return to established basics in many areas, like mechanics and enemy types, so they could pour a lot more time into fleshing out the world map and making it really pretty and fun to explore. Now that they know they can do this (very) successfully, they'll probably aim higher in those areas next time.

I know it's three years later, but I just started playing this game, and it has been ridiculously fun and addictive. Not many games can be hard enough to make me retry a boss fight for 5 hours and still keep my chomping at the bit to play more.

Unless there's some other reason Dunkey turned off the music volume for Gascoigne's fight, he probably planned the low battery bit ahead of time and just stopped moving when he was at low health, adding the dual shock alert in post. He knew he needed the volume to cut off for comedic effect in the first place.
Only makes me appreciate Dunkey's content and unique sense of humor even more. Also probably my favorite Dunkey video so far, fucking genius. Shout out to Paulie on sound and production, keep up the good work.
Dimitri Couwenberg There are a lot of times Dunkey plays without music that you can notice throughout this video, where he adds in his own but still has the game sound effects. In fact, he probably edited IN the music for the rest of the fight scene. If you're thinking he's messing up on purpose for a gag, and having to visually edit in PS4 notifications, I think you're reading in too much.
This is very possible and probably exactly what he did but let me just say this exact thing happened to me during a different boss fight.
