i’m an english language student and believe me, even talking is super complicated lmao (i’m watching this instead of studying for my exams oops)
Singing in itself isn't actually complicated, simple in fact. Singing once in a while in your mid range and being in a relaxed environment will do you no wrong. What makes it complicated is when you're a professional singer and ahould sing for an extensive amount of time. If you have improper techniques, you will eventually strain and damage your vocals.

Yes some vocal teachers react just to point out what are their preferences , often times not objectively speaking.
When Chanyeol appears at his screen, maybe this voice teacher thought that: "Who is this guy?" Chanyeol maybe gets a little shock because he was amazed by the voice of Chen and Baekhyun. LOL
I’m glad you noticed their support of each other and harmony. “So that they’re always gonna be together” - well said. They will. You meant singing but when it comes to Exo on the whole and ChenBaek in particular it’s not only about singing, they are really one. They’ve been together from the very audition to EXO. They’ve loved each other and rooted for each other for all these past years. They are a real family and I like how the person who doesn’t know them well can still hear that from their singing. That’s a professionalism of yours and I see you really like it yourself. I learn a lot from them and from you. Thanks for reacting to this gold. Isn’t it incredible that this was them from 5 years ago? They’ve got some incredible power and control now even compared to back then! Baekhyun in My Answer and “What If” fancams or Chen singing the legendary Drunken Truth on Masked Singer! They have so many incredible performances that it’s hard to choose! when you're talking about the "oh" sound, there's actually a very simple reason! there are two "oh" sounds in korean that to a regular ear sound really similar, but people like you who are trained to notice those things apparently have no difficulty :D the lips rounded "oh" and the "oh" more at the back of the throat are considered different: 오 for the first one and 어 for the latter

is there any difference between having pressure and having weight? I notice you used the wore weight more in this vid. Also please react on Jonghyun's Y si fuera ella and Lee Hi's Breathe.
Good question! They are related but independently controlled. When I say weight I mostly mean the amount of time your vocal cords stay together during phonation (closed quotient). Pressure is created when breath meets resistance at either the vocal cords or resonating space. You can create a higher pressure by either increasing the closed quotient or breath. That's how you could have high pressure but keep a breathy tone.
Thinning out the vocal folds helps them stretch. If you are able to carry more weight up it results on a more robust sound. Finding an appropriate amount of pressure is necessary too.

A lot of people have requested Chen's Masked Singer performances of Stained and Drunken Truth, which I second! But if you get a chance I hope you can react to Chen's rock performance "EXO Chen - Uprising ( Japan )"? It's quite short. For their 2014 concert tour, their producer wrote this rock song just for Chen. I think it would be interesting for you to analyze his rock vocals/performance. I don't think any vocal teacher has reacted to it (and even if they did I only trust your reactions now lol). Chen often says he loves rock music and hopes to do rock music as a solo artist one day.
