I think the unknown food with cheese instead of egg was probably French Onion soup - one of my favorites. Thanks for “suffering” for your viewers through such a huge variety of food. Now that I am hungry, I will walk over to the fridge and see what I can come up for lunch.

As a married guy with two kids, I really appreciate a review of a family restaurant and not just some hip couple's only places.

I love the care that Japanese chefs put into making dishes. Even the dishes that are commonly found here in America or anywhere else in the world, they always show great care and do each dish justice keeping it traditional to the region. It’s mind blowing. And the food looks amazing. I’d love to eat at these places you visit.

The breading on the chicken looked good. It reminded me of the cornmeal batter used on hush puppies and fish.
There are so many choices on those menus, with such a variety of different styles of foods, another great watch.

That place reminds me of the Perkins family restaurant chain in Iowa, in the states. I do like how the salads in Japan are more than just lettuce.
I'm actually surprised, the burger with gravy and the fried prawn looked so good, I wouldn't expect it to look as appetizing as it came! Love seeing you in restaurants sometimes! Your videos are so entertaining!

The mayo at the end with the Bouillabaisse was more than likely their take on a Rouille. A typical garlic mayo type sauce that is usually served on top of toasts and served in Bouillabaisse.

I would be fun if Mega could join you in some restaurant visits and hear both of your likes and dislikes. I like when you two interact with eachother and talk about the food. How it tastes, consistency, improvments for it to become a better dish etc. Very good video, as always 🙂.

mixed grill plate looked really delicious as did the gratin set of dishes. for a small family dining spot, everything looked well prepared and the chef cared enough to make it right

The soup you had was definetly French Onion Soup. Every restaurant with soup usually has it or New England clam chowder. The seeds in the cole slaw were probably celery seed. Thanks for taking us their to watch.

My grandmother used to love croquettes and made salmon with cream sauce or chicken with chicken gravy all the time. I sure miss her cooking

3:11 I usually cut a pizza a couple of pieces at a time since it cools faster as individual slices.

In the US we get those mushrooms but they are called king oysters. I love them.

I do like those family restaurants, always going to Jonathans, Gusto, Saizeriya, dannys and whatever else I forgot.
Portion size is usually not that big but its also not every expensive so you can buy several dishes withouth having to get into a debt XD
Taste wise its not the best but by not bad either.
I often get the Margherita and also add some tabasco plus lots of parmesan so that I don't need more then this.
