What a lovely village! Saint Emilion and the Monolithic church is amazing. The cloister was so beautiful and I wonder what the inside of the church looks like. Your children are adorable and your château is incredible.

I think you have a lovely balance in your content. Focussing on one room of the chateau at a time works well. The map idea is genius! I really enjoyed the visit to Saint-Emilion. So gorgeous❤️ I know it’s only your second go at this, but it would be helpful if you can get a body mic for whichever of you is not holding the camera, then we can clearly hear what both of you are saying at the same volume. As a viewer bad sound is the number one reason for me turning a video off.

I am learning that there are ugly people who have something against lovely people buying and restoring lovely homes and chateaux and spend their time making horrible comments instead of getting on with their sad lives. I really do not understand this mentality but it shouldn't distract from the goal of these videos, to share fun and joy and allow us to learn more about your region, which is also my region as I moved to near Bordeaux during the first lockdown to my own huge old house. The cobble stones in St E come from the UK. A long time ago they were used as ballast on our ships on their outward journey when they went there to buy wine. Loved the blog.

Sight seeing is great, and we don't even have to leave our couches. 🙂. I do prefer doing the sightseeing in person but you have to take what you can get.

Anna thank you, the guard dogs are called Oprah (black one) and Onyx (onyx coloured).... they are scary to prowlers, but so adorable with our kids and would protect us with thier lives - very loyal breed (Cane Corso Italian Mastiff).

The furniture in the salon is just beautiful. I especially loved the desk. I noticed one of the paintings in the salon has the same frame as a painting I inherited from my parents house after they died. I just love it. From the drone shots at the beginning, your vineyards look huge. I am sure we don't even see all of the vineyards. Thank you for the tour Anna and Edd.

Even though we are only about two and a half hours from you, it was lovely to join you in your ‘ wander’ around St.Emilion ...such a lovely town and the cloisters are stunning, agree with you Ed about the multi pillars. . We loved this mixed vlog, your lovely salon, Charles and Emma, history, a bit of tourism whilst sitting by our fire. The only thing missing was a meal at La Table in Créon and a bit of wine buying in the Maison de Vin de Graves! Roll-on the end of this virus!😘

This was a totally enjoyable and informative video. I love your format of concentrating on one area or room per episode. Those beautiful floor tiles, I am just discovering, are late 19th and early 20th century (late 1800's and early 1900's). They are painted cement and the geometric patterns were the oldest, the floral patterns were early 1900's. This floor is beautiful and in incredible condition. Thank you for a lovely video.
